My last guitar strap was made of that soft stuff. Somebody gave me it, so I had to give it a try - you know - feelings and all that. Anyway, it was the only one I had, and aside of the absolute necessity to put those wee holder gizmos on to stop the guitar just falling on the floor, it was just as rough on the shoulder as any hard leather strap I'd ever used. This is a hard one - not brutal, but you definitely won't need the wee holder thingies. I play a slimline semi acoustic with the peg on the back of the guitar body, facing me, so that if I push out from my body, some straps just unhook themselves; this one absolutely doesn't. You can put those wee whatnots on if you want, but you really don't need them. It's a good strap by a good make at a good price. There's nothing not to like here.

I use these on headless guitars and cut the strap shorter. They are plenty strong enough for the job and improve in pliability and appearance with use.

Lovely swade strap , bit pricey and maybe not an exact replica oh the Hendrix/DG but if you own a Black Stratocaster you need one of these 😁

Good value and delivered promptly. The strap is light and flexible and easy to fit. This is the third one of this type that I've bought for my various guitars. Comfortable to wear when playing. It's a bit of a faff adjusting the strap till you've got your ideal length. But once set up it won't come undone. Pleased I bought it.

Soft leather strap very long

This strap was £28.50 but looks and feels like should cost £2.50. It is an ultra-thin "leather" material that is a fingerprint magnet and easily creased. The backing material feels rough and the edges are sharp. The colour doesn't match the photo either as it shows black with white backing and this is black with grey backing. It arrived pre-creased and greasy which was a major let down. I am left feeling extremely disappointed with this product from D'Addario, it is one the worst and most overpriced straps I have purchased in 20 years.

It's OK. It arrived on time and there was no problem with packaging however the strap as a whole feels quite rigid when on the guitar and is not the most comfortable. For the money it is good value and for me who only occasionly plays live it's fine but if you are a serious musician I would look elsewhere
