I opted for the opened/new one to save an extra buck and these bulbs are worth every penny.

Good color, good price, but quality control is off.
Ordered two boxes of these lights. First box had two defective bulbs in it. I tested both bulbs on known-good sockets, but to no avail. The working ones look nice and are priced right.The second box is arriving today. We'll see how it fares. UPDATE: All bulbs from the 2nd box worked fine.

Warm color temperature matches incandescents!
My set came with incandescent bulbs and as I ran out of replacements that came with the set, I looked for LED versions. These match perfectly in look, size and color temperature. I will continue to replace the incandescents with these LED's but because the match is good, I don't have to replace them all at once. Very pleased with this purchase. I can't really comment on longevity as I have only had the bulbs in for a couple of weeks.

Over half of the bulbs in our box don't work
We purchased this box of bulbs in August and used a few bulbs right away. They worked fine, so we thought all was well. Since then we have used more bulbs, and the majority of them don't work. We're past the return window, so I can't do anything about it. The bulbs that work are fine, including brightness, but since most don't work I wouldn't recommend them.
