I got this to use with firearms and tactical accessories, as an alternative to GoonTape. It works very well for that purpose, doesn't seem to leave residue, and seems to be pretty durable. It's a great value. It provides some grippiness to areas that need it without being too rough of a texture. It also works well to wrap up loose straps. The thickness is ideal because you don't have to trim it for smaller applications, and you can just wrap a few times for larger applications.

What can I say it's howies tape, it works and it lasts. Comes in many colors, I chose black traditional, but choose another color to customize to your needs. Looks great, feels great, and it holds up. Great price for a great product. I use it for tools, garden tool handles, mauls, you name it, not just for hockey sticks.

Great quality. I use this to wrap handgun grips. After firing hundreds of rounds at a time it gets wet with sweat, turns sticky but does not leave a residue on your hands. Hands down the best tape for handguns grips.
