Exact OEM Part, Easy to Install
OEM Vespa oil filter. Easy to install. Perfect fit. A little pricey for a tiny filter but worth the peace of mind knowing its OEM, it'll fit the first time and it'll work as designed by the Piaggio wiz kids.

OEM filter by Mahle.
Filters arrived inside plastic bags. There was a additional plastic cap over the end of each filter. All the markings on the exterior look legitimate so I think these are real mahle filters. There is no nut or slot on the end to assist with installation. The outside edge of the filter does have flat spots for a filter wrench, but I'm not aware of any wrench that fits a filter this small. If you have a pipe wrench, that's really the only tool I found that works with this style filter. Just be very careful not to squeeze too tight because you can crush the end. Other filters do include more user friendly installation designs. I personally have never had an issue using a pipe wrench so I'll stick with the OEM filter.
