I was in need of some PAG-46 oil when I converted my 1993 Ford F-150 from R12 to R134a. Apparently, the mineral oil originally in the system doesn't play well with R134a refrigerant. I spent a fair amount of time flushing out the lines and components and added this oil, which has a dye to aid in future leak detection, and was able to achieve the desired performance.
