Fantastic felting wool
More than once, I’ve been told by experienced felters that having cooperative core wool for any project can make a big difference. I was a bit skeptical, but after using this, I’m fully in agreement. This Corriedale wool worked way better than my cleaned wool scraps, and it was nice enough to be used for surface details, too. I’ve now used this wool for the core and legs of a Highland cow (great to thicken up pipe cleaner legs and horns), body, legs and horns for a Herdwick ram, and the body and head of an African Grey Parrot ornament for our Christmas tree, in memory of our old Oscar. Because this wool has been cleaned, carded, and made into roving, you don’t have to pick out bits, and you won’t break needles on those bits, either. Very pleased with this wonderful wool.

Great product!
Lovely quality. Very smooth and easy to work with, and this really is a lot of wool to work with. I use it as both core wool and as a white wool (it's just slightly off white). I've made over 20 mini creatures with this and I'm not even halfway through it. I'm definitely keep buying this one.

Spins beautifully on my drop spindle
I normally don't write reviews but I feel compelled. This wool spins beautifully on a drop spindle. I am new to this but I have been using roving from elsewhere. That stuff I have to fluff and predraft which is a pain in the rear. But THIS, omg it drafts so easy and beautiful. All I had to do was separate pieces out that I can manage and start spinning. The drafting is so easy. It isn't matted or felted at all. I am able to spin even and thin yarn so easily. I highly recommend this, esp if ur a beginner like me. 10/10. Plus the wool is super soft and just enjoyable to the touch. Will deff buy again.

Corriedale Wool Roving: Very Happy With This Product
I'm just learning drop spindle spinning and the longer staple length of this roving has made practicing much more enjoyable. However, if you're using this for drop spindle spinning and new to it like I am/was, you might be better to start with 8 oz. rather than 16 oz. There was more roving to 16 oz. than I imagined and took me over a month of daily spinning to get through the full pound. That having been said, it was a great value for the money! The roving was clean, well combed/carded, and undyed. I was able to spin and ply enough 3-ply yarn to make a pair of adult leg warmers (24" long) for myself with yarn to spare. Given that my thread got finer and more consistent as I practiced and developed my technique, that's quite good. I have already purchased more for future projects and would recommend to family and friends.
