This may be a gem for someone still a student, and one with large hands. However, for those of us who write a great deal for non-classroom activities I find it of limited utility. The pen itself is quite bulky, making it difficult for my medium sized hands to use for long periods of time. This may be the reason that the software has had difficulty learning to read my writing. It is not easy for me to make my letters using something as broad as this pen. The users' manual is exceedingly brief and did not make it easy to determine how the pen interfaced with the software needed to translate the cursive writing to computer script. I will keep using it for now, after all, I spent over $150 on the item, but my initial opinion, after about six weeks, is not very positive.
