GREAT QUALITY
I have to say that I didn't have high hopes for these shoes. I bought them at the last minute for my son's school dance as we searched about 10 stores looking for a pair like this. I finally looked on Amazon and found this pair at a low cost and I could have them next day in time for the dance. Now, my son is the pickiest little turd when it comes to clothes. He thinks we are celebrities or that he is really the child of Elan Musk or something and must have been switched at birth because he only likes Yeezy's, Gucci, etc because he's a 13 year old douche. NO, it's not my fault. My other 2 older boys and exemplary young men. This one was born like this. I swear at 3 years old he was already so very EXTRA. I love him dearly though which is why I went to 10 stores looking for these damned shoes for him the night before the dance. Yep...I know I'm an enabler. Get over it and move on with the review. So I KNEW that if these shoes looked cheap, he wasn't going to wear them. Fortunately, they were very nice so that he DID wear them and I didn't have to rip his head off his his almost pubescent body. They looked great on him. They're a little big which is fine since he's growing so I can probably get another 6 months use out of them. Someone should invent shoes that stretch!!!

Go Down A Size
Being so used to sneakers, you know what sizes you need from certain brands. Nike is usually a size up for me while Adidas is a size down. Because of the style of this shoe, you may want to get a size smaller than what you're used to. If you own multiple shoes of different sizes, I'd say just find the average & go a size down. The style of this shoe is narrower at the toe, not rounded like a sneaker. If you order your usual size, you may find that you have a lot of toe space & notice that your shoe feels about an inch longer than what you're used to. As an expert at not doing research, I bought these shoes along with many similar shoes & boots (Palladium Boots, Chelsea Boots, Thursday Boots etc), and failed to go down a size & now all my shoes feel a little funny with the large space left for my toes. As someone who is used to buying sneakers, this is never really a problem - but because this is such a far more sophisticated style of shoe, it's a different ballpark & you'll have to trust reviews like this one! Also, if you're making the wardrobe move from sneakers to shoes like this (like I am), you're making a very rational adult decision & I am proud of you.Other than that, I highly recommend this shoe. It looks good and it's extremely affordable. Goes great with everything & is a staple pair of shoes for your wardrobe. Go with the Desert Storm variant, can't go wrong with brown!

Sock stains? Weird?
I just received these and they're just as amazing as pictured. I wear a Size 13 wide, and expected these to be tight, but they're fine. I didn't find any weird glue or mistakes in the seams like others reported. What I did just find was kind of weird?I only plan on wearing these to my part time job, so I didn't really expect comfort, so I wore extra thick socks to also combat the cold plus comfort. The weird thing is when I came home and removed my shoes, I found it turned my socks green! They were stained green and I don't know why? My feet weren't extremely sweaty, nor did my socks or shoes get wet in anyway. This also dried out my feet and caused them to peel, kinda gross.Hope this review helps someone on the fence!

Awesome chukka boots
So I own like 4 or 5 different pairs of bruno marc shoes and boots. This brand can be a hit or miss. Not a big fan of the camel color oxfords because they’re pretty cheap looking with the fake leather, but the suede chelsea boots are really nice👌🏽 And these suede chukkas are awesome too. Very comfortable, they look good too, you can dress these up with slacks or chinos or dress them down casually with jeans or khakis 🤙🏽 Honestly I really like these boots and don’t regret buying them at all. This brand Bruno Marc is also very inexpensive witch is a plus👍🏽 In conclusion, this is a nice inexpensive brand with a variety of different boots and shoes to choose from. But like I said in the beginning it can be a hit or miss depending on what you buy. I have a pair of black suede Chelsea boots that I really like from this brand and also these suede chukkas are dope too👌🏽 Also own a pair of black oxfords that are nice, but i also have a pair of camel derby’s and a pair of tan leather chukkas I don’t like. I’ve noticed that the light brown shades are made from a cheap synthetic leather and that’s a downer but for the price you can’t complain. Beggers can’t be choosers i guess...

Perfect value option to last you for a few seasons
when it comes to shoes, I’m a big believer in value. I own fancy leather dress shoes with 4 digit price tags, and then I also own these. I don’t believe in buying cheap dress shoes as a good quality pair of dress shoes can last 50+ years with proper care and resole-ing. That said, suede shoes often get worn and dirty pretty quickly, making them really annoying to maintain for years. These shoes fix that issue- they look great and are comfortable... but are also super cheap. Why bother cleaning and paying for a resole when this pair costs less than $40? Don’t get me wrong, these will NOT last for years of solid wear, BUT they will last for a few seasons of heavy use, which is all you should need for this type of shoe.

A Quality Chukka Boot!
I've been wearing chukka boots since I was in high school back the early 70's. I used to purchase another brand through Amazon, but the brand is consistently unavailable, and 1 day right before Christmas I decided to do a search for chukka boots and the Bruno Marc's brand came up, so I read some of the reviews and decided to order a pair. While placing the order I remembered the other brand and how fast they would run out of my size, so I ordered 2 pairs. After wearing them for a couple days I decided that if they still had my size I'd order more, so I went online again the day after Christmas and ordered another 3 pairs. Ha, ha, I know I just got a chuckle out of a bunch of you men, but I really like my chuka's and these are truly great. They fit well and are real suede, not some man-made material. They're stylish, well made and light weight and breathable. Great chukka's!

Great boots but…
Excellent boot very comfortable and well made, and the price….well, say no more. I have the black ones, very nice !!The only issue I’ve found is the sizing, I’m a 10 but with fairly wide feet and these boots come up a little narrow, and slightly longer than I expected but that was no issue as they’re comfortable to walk in and they’ll give a bit too as they age. The boots are also a little more pointed at the toe than previous desert boots I’ve worn so when I first looked down on them I thought I’d got clowns shoes on compared to my boots these are replacing but that feeling quickly wears off 😂One thing I really liked was the elasticated part of the heel where the small tab is, bit of thought gone into that as it eases putting them on.Would I buy them again ?? Put it this way I’m already eyeing up a blue pair !

Bargain
As a diabetic, I usually buy expensive shoes as I find cheaper ones don’t feel comfortable. With the lockdown I ordered a pair of these just to keep me going but am genuinely impressed with the quality and comfort of the shoe. For the price, these are a bargain

A deep blue colour. Very nice indeed
With waxed laces, thicker sole and thicker leather, my boots arrived and I love them. They are smart and casual - will look great with a pair of jeans as well as chinos and I’ll be wearing them often.

Comfortabe and stylish. Money well spent.
Firstly, they look great with jeans or trousers. They are comfortable with a very small elasticated area by the loop on the heel that make them easier to put on without a shoe horn.I am a size 11uk/12usa (wide). Initially I bought a pair that size but they were too tight with medium/thick socks. I returned them (no problems, no postage as prime member). I replaced them with size 12uk/13usa which were a great fit with those socks.Shoe covers came in the box which is a nice bonus. They were no problem to wear all day and feel well made. They have a tan pair which I will buy in a few weeks. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned.Colin(29/08/21)
