I tested this contact paper on my countertop to see if I would like it and if I decided I did I would cover the entire thing. I am not yet good at laying it so if you are like me you will see that the pattern is quite forgiving. I cut it into a couple of pieces and it blended well if you aren’t really studying it. The adhesive is strong but if you needed to lift it up to release air pockets, you can and not have to worry about it losing its stickiness. The quality is good but I decided that it wasn’t for my countertops.

This stuff is great if you can't afford new counters or have living arrangements in which you can't replace what you have. I've recently acquired my parents old home and to say it needs some upgrades is an understatement. I currently cannot afford costly cosmetic upgrades, like new counters for ones that are in good condition, but I needed a change and to make this place -mine- (love you mom and dad, but it's not the 70s/80s anymore lol) Application was super easy, once you get the feel for it. There are grids on the back for easy measuring and cutting. Just keep in mind the pattern of your vinyl! The one I used in the bathroom didn't matter which way I put pieces down, as the pattern was random; the kitchen on the other hand actually had direction in the marbling, so you gotta make sure you keep 'em going the same way! (I added one picture of my kitchen counters for reference) The adhesive on this stuff is very strong, but not strong enough to where you can't readjust if you need to during application--but make sure you don't super secure it until youre sure it's placed right. I used some small tack nails on the underside of the counters, cuz common sense told me it will NOT stick to the rough underside of them, and she was right. I suggest getting a small pack of those from the hardware store before you start your counters, they're only a couple dollars for a bunch of 'em. I also used a soft wide scraping tool to secure it/get out bubbles. Once you've done that, it doesn't budge and you'll prolly need another piece if you gotta adjust, cuz it will prolly rip if you try to remove it (this happened to me when I did the kitchen counters--side note, the adhesive does not leave a gross residue, so that's a plus!) If you do have stubborn bubbles, just use a pin or a blade to make a small hole and get the air out that way--unless you gash it, no one would even be able to tell. It is water resistant and easy to clean, but I don't know how it is with heat. I'm sure it is fine if it's not excessively hot (but I mean, who puts excessively hot things on a bare counter anyway??) -the most heat my kitchen counters have received was from a cup of hot cocoa ;P) All in all, yes I would DEFINITELY recommend this product, unless you don't have the patience for potentially tedious projects. Bathroom took me roughly an hour as I was getting the hang of it/being a perfectionist about it, the kitchen took maybe 30 minutes since I already knew what to expect.

Love this paper! It's glossy and a nice thickness fir countertops. I almost ordered a different brand, but being obsessive, I kept looking. Thank God I did. I was reading all the reviews and the other brand kept referencing how see through it was. In rereading the description, it was described as vinyl FILM, hence the sheerness. BUY THIS BRAND! You will not be disappointed. I have done a lot of DIY projects so I feel justified in testifying to the excellence of this product. Obviously, I just received it and immediately began the installation so I cannot speak to the durability but common sense dictates the use of trivets and cutting boards. For a very low cost, I will have a beautiful, updated kitchen. First pic is during, second pic before countertop and paint on lower level.

Ok so i had my doubts; but this stuff is awesome! It’s a little tricky to get placed at first but super easy once you do it for a bit, and is super easy to readjust. Perfectly sticky and thick enough that it actually feels better than the old countertop.

Easy to apply an makes any wall look like it was professionally done. Easy to remove as well.

Die Folie ist auf ner Küchenarbeitsplatte für Fortgeschrittene zum verkleben, stört mich als Profifolierer aber nicht. Sie klebt anständig, ist recht steif und sperrig, lässt sich nur bedingt föhnen. Ich persönlich bin aber vom Ergebnis und von der Optik begeistert! Sieht SUPER aus, besser als gedacht, und preis- Leistung stimmt einfach. 👌🏻
