Q: How often can they be used before they need to changed?

The wool dryer balls typically last between 2-4 years depending on how many loads of laundry you average. Basically 1,000 loads

Q: Where country are they made in?

They are made from New Zealand wool but perhaps put together in China, I saw Nepal as country of origin in the product details. It is possible it is made and assembled in Nepal using New Zealand wool. However wherever they are made/assembled they do work very well and I find them better than bounce sheets. Q: How many of these do you put in the dryer?

I’ve been putting three in the dryer. I normally do large loads only.

Q: I received these and did a load of wash....clothes came out of dryer full of static!! it was awful. is it possible i used them wrong? no directions

I had the same thing happen! I put 2 balls in my load to dry and they came out SO full of static. My husband hates static and said, "Please do not use these anymore. Please go back to dryer sheets." I am going to try 4 balls next time to see if there is an improvement, but so far my case for helping the environment by changing out laundry habits are not at all convincing to my partner.
