RothcoTactical Operator Cap | Military Hat | Baseball Cap with Loop Field

I have had two of these hats.The other one served me well but finally was showing wear after a few years and to be frank the construction of it was kinda janky from the get-go but it was super durable and survived a lot of stuff a hat should not survive. I finally decided to get a spare after I lost the old one temporarily.I was expecting it to also be kind of janky like my last Rothco hat but when I opened the box I was ecstatic to see it. 100x better fit,form, velcro is nicer the whole 9 yards. I have no doubt this hat will be with me for years and years to come.

The hat is solid for the most part but the 8 year old indonesian children need to up their game a little bit. Some fabric strands already showing after a few weeks

Good quality on this hat. Velcro is good. The fact it is made of a cotton polyester blend means it will fade less than 100% cotton. It stays nice after going in the washing machine too. Fit is on the smaller side which I like. It doesn't get in the way of glasses or sunglasses. I am 6'3 and on the thin side. I don't have a big head, so this hat fits me well. If your head is on the bigger side the Condor hat would likely fit you better. In the photo the Rothco is on left, and the Condor is on the right. The size difference is clear.

I tried one of these caps after two Condor caps became worn-out. So far, it's been good. It hasn't formed grotesque sweat stains on it, like the Condors did. It's comfortable to wear while working. It's been through the washer (but not the dryer) a couple of times and it still looks new. Color is as I expected.Longevity is unknown, but at this point I'd buy another of these before anymore Condor caps.

We use these hats for our field staff. The UD patch loops on the front and back allow for specific tech labels. Of course the top has the small loop patch for IR patches.The low profile band sits slightly above the ear which allows for comfortable wearing of glasses/sunglasses.We recommend this product.

Love these range hats if not solely for their lack of a top "cap" which gets in the way of headphones/ear-protection as well as can be painful if you bump your head. Such an unnecessary feature - all hats should be this way.
