Perfect for modeling scale aircraft
I use this compressor for modeling aircraft and so far it has been absolutely fantastic.... It runs nice and quiet maintains steady PSI and seems to be built very solid... Had a small issue with the moisture trap / regulator when it first arrived so I contacted the company and they sent me a completely new compressor setup not just a new moisture trap / regulator like I asked for.

No Issues
I bought this compressor March 4, 2017, and today is March 16, 2020. I've used it on and off since then; especially recently with the coronavirus keeping people indoors. I basically use it when I have some down time. I haven't had any issues with it. I do notice if I leave it on with an airbrush attached, after a couple of hours it will kick on telling me some air slipped out. With that said, I don't make the connections very tight; therefore, it might just be user error. I've bought a couple of other airbrushes to go with it: a Sparmax SP-35 and another Master Model Precision Dual-Action Airbrush with no issues. I'm not an expert by any measure, but it seems to work as advertised.

A steal of a price for a great compressor/tank/airbrush combo.
Ordered this kit to up my game on building scale model cars. Was truly impressed when it arrived.First, the star of the lot is the compressor/tank combo. Oil free operation. ready to run out of the box. Quiet! Well put together. Easy adjust for psi. Very happy with it. In my opinion the price I paid is worth it just for this. The hose it came with is okay. Nothing special. Gets the job done. Long enough. The airbrush it came with (model g22) is well put together for a decent entry level airbrush. It sprays really fine lines and wide spray very well. The only complaint I have on the airbrush is that the dual action sticks a bit on initial pressing of the button. With that being said....I'm still incredibly happy with this lot.

Perfect for a starter set.
Great set for a beginner! Fantastic set to start airbrushing with. Great for priming and doing basecoats, cheap replacement parts if you break something. I purchased this set because I was unsure if I would want to splurge for a more expensive brush, and this was a perfect way to test the waters. Even if you move on to a nicer brush for more detail work, this compressor still works great, and the basic brush will still be fine for non-detail work.

Works so well!
This machine is Quiet, powerful, and smooth, it comes with 1 airbrush and it works very well. I wish I would have bought this sooner. I highly recommend it. It's so nice and works so well.

Compressor is great, airbrush is useless. Skip this kits and buy the parts separately.
Do yourself a favor and Purchase the tank and airbrush separately. The tank alone would have received 4 stars, the rest of the kit 2 stars.I've been airbrushing for a number of years now. I do model painting and miniature painting and I mostly use Iawata air brushes. I've been running an older badger compressor for all this time, but it finally gave up the ghost and I needed a new compressor. I really didn't want to spend over $100 total, so I started looking at these TC-20T Compressors on Amazon. The T at the end denotes it has a tank. From what I read on line, and saw in YouTube videos, these compressors seemed ideal for my use and were in my price range. I came across this kit which cost $10 more than the compressor alone and figured I could use the cheapo airbrush to do priming and varnish coats and i never hurts to have an extra hose.I have to say I am quite pleased with the compressors quality. Out of the box there were no leaks in any of the couplings, the regulator, water filter and tank release valve all worked as expected. The regulator/filter is a bit on the cheap side, but that is replaceable, so I'll probably keep it until it stops functioning. I mostly work between 10 - 30 psi and this handles those pressures just fine. You really want to get a compressor with a tank. The tank does a nice job of smoothing out any pulsations from the single piston compressor although if you are looking for a quiet solution, the tanks size is a little too small to create a completely silent experience. I find at 20 PSI I can run about 10 seconds of spray before the compressor kicks in to refill the tank. That said, I do not find the compressor to be noisy. My smaller automobile compressor I use for filling tires is significantly louder. The rubber feet also help to dampen the sound. The compressor, the TC-20T, is available from many sellers under a number of different brands. I've found the TC-20T compressor from other Amazon sellers for less than 70 bucks. So if you just want the compressor/tank combo you should shop around. The hose is cheap, but it works. It's roughly 5.5 feet long, braided and has standard 1/8" couplings on each end. It seems pretty flexible. If you are just starting out, the hose will be just fine for you. Time will tell if it holds up, the connectors are pretty flimsy. You can buy the hose individually for less than ten bucks although it's probably only worth about 5.There is a pamphlet on how to airbrush that comes with the kit. It is entirely useless. Honestly just toss it. If you want to learn about airbrushing hop onto YouTube or buy a book. Now for the airbrush, it's crap. I ran the airbrush for about a minute before it broke in my hands. No air and no paint. For the short time it did work, paint flow was inconsistent. It splattered and did a very poor job of uniformly spreading paint. Like I said it broke on my first use. I took it apart to see if I could fix it, but the trigger mechanism was broken. It uses a pretty poor trigger design, which is bound to break at some point. I guess I was just unlucky in that it broke so soon. While I had it apart I inspected the needle. The needle was not very smooth with a number of imperfections, which would account for the poor spray pattern. I probably would have worked on the needle and polished it up if the trigger hadn't broken. The o-ring is also pretty cheap and will eventually wear out. I would replace it with a beeswax seal if I kept it. You can pick up a cheap Veda airbrush for around 20 bucks if you shop around. The kit also came with a quick-connect coupling, but it only provided 1 half of the coupling set, and it was the barbed type. Had it included the standard type I could have used it. A complete quick connect kit which supports 3 airbrushes costs less than 10 bucks. So to wrap this review up, I cannot suggest anyone purchase this G22 Airbrushing Kit. What you should do is purchase the parts separately. You can find the same exact TC-20T compressor for around 70 (if you shop around), you can pick up a 6' 1/8" hose for about 10, and pick up a basic Veda airbrush for about 20. Total cost will be less than the price of this kit, and you will have something that will actually work and should hold you until you can afford a better airbrush.
