The wrong style was sent to me. When I opened it, it seems very wrinkled and as if it was not folded properly -- as if it may have been sent to someone else first. The outside package has the correct picture on it but the actual blanket looks different. It has a straight design on the sides instead of the diagonal pattern that I ordered. Also the stitching attaching the bag to the blanket is already coming apart. This is a hassle to return so I will probably just wash it. The blanket itself seems like OK quality, though I haven't tried it on the beach yet.UPDATE - washed and dried this - came out fine out of the dryer - much less wrinkled. Took it to the beach. Sand pockets are nice and big and were easy to use. I just turn the pocket parts inside out and dig into the sand with my hands- and fold over. works great. Increased by one star because the blanket stayed in place on a windy day. Would recommend, but you may not get the exact color you order- as I did not.

I have had this for some time now and it is a must carry anytime we go to the beach.This thing literally wraps itself up into this small bag type thing which is so easy to carry and put anywhere. Being very lightweight, it doesn't add a lot of weight to the stuff that you're carrying.The material of the blanket is very sturdy and can easily handle the grittiness of the sand, while providing protection from directly sitting on the sand. It dries and dusts off very easily too.One of the most creative things about this blanket are the pockets on the 4 corners. You fill in sand in those pockets to add weight and hold this blanket down. What a simple yet genius solution from having blankets blowing away in wind.

We use this for the beach. It is very thin. You feel each and every grain of sand against your skin. The anchor pockets on the corners are not enough. I would add an extra pocket in the middle of each side to better secure the sheet, because it is very light.PROS: sand can be shaken off easily. light and easy to carry and pack. the anchors are a good idea. It's light enough you can hand wash it in the shower. dries fast.CONS: cannot be machine washed or dried. If you live in a tiny apartment this can be a problem. If drying it in a balcony, make sure to secure it because it's so light it may fly away.

I love the color options Grand Trunk offers so I wanted to love this blanket. I bought this one in the Sandia color and another brand to compare quality. The other brand one won out for overall value and product accuracy - it's larger, roughly the same weight and one-third of the price. Also, the stripes on the Sandia color I received actually ran parallel along the edges rather than at a 45° angle... not a big deal, just a little disappointing the product image is inaccurate. Overall, I'd still recommend it as it's a quality, lightweight outdoor blanket. It was just hard to justify 3x the cost for just a color.

I bought this parasheet beach bag when I went on vacation in Aruba. Took on every vacation and beach I went to. Had it for a couple of years and lost it 2 years ago while on vacation. I search amazon and was so happy to know they had it. I purchase it right away. This is the best beach blanket invented. This parasheet blanket is nylon material, lightweight, quick drying, water resistant. Large enough to fit 3 people. Very easy to open, fill corner pocket with sand and tuck underneath the sand. I usually put my beach bag in between each corner and on the opposite I put my cooler. Very easy to remove sand. Simply lift corner pocket, let sand out, and the best part is it rolls up into a small pouch. Machine washable and dryable. No more carrying blankets or sheets to the beach and dealing with the mess.

The sand was easily brushed off. And seriously this was easier to pack up than a beach towel, just tuck it into it's own little pouch! I bought this specially for our annual backpacking trip on the Washington coast so we would have an option other than just sitting on a log or getting sandy. I so wish we would have gotten one sooner this week be a staple beach and backpacking item!

I purchased this for our 3 week beach trip and it has been awesome. The sand just falls right off (when dry) and you don't end up shaking out sand for the next few uses. The sand pockets on the edges work great. The pockets are strong and we have never had it move at all. It is not water resistant at all though, if you put it on wet ground, your bum will also be wet. But it is great to have a clean dry spot to sit. It dries very quickly, Iv'e washed it in the washing machine twice and have only hung it up to dry. The attached stuff sack is great and it fits back in easily. It's perfect for the beach.

I live near the beach and wanted something that I could keep in my trunk for spontaneous outings. This parasheet beach blanket fits the bill perfectly.Pros:Super lightweight and compacts down to about the 1L volume.Corner pockets for weighting down with sand is a nice touch.Big size allows me to stay fully on it (I'm over 6 feet tall) as opposed to towels which my legs are always hanging off the edge.Solid construction. I've had this in my trunk for over four years now, and it still works as advertised.Cons:Not soft like a cotton towel--more like laying on nylon.

I had a hard time justifying it's cost before buying it. Then I bought. Once it arrived, I had an even harder time justifying the price. I thought, "This little thing costs so much?!!" But this thing works wonders!Pros+ Taking a flight to Miami? This thing packs up neatly into its own soft bag, which makes for a great back rest or pillow.+ Doesn't get hot. I was reading on a scorching hot beach for over two hours. My book felt like the pages were ready to catch fire. This blanket barely raised in temperature.+ It's so incredibly light weight. You won't notice it in your luggage.+ A much better alternative than a towel when going to the beach.+ The sandbags at the corners are awesome and keeps this thing in place, rather than having the wind flop it around everywhere.+ Can fit two or more adults comfortably. If you're very tall, you might need to lay down diagonally.+ Easy to clean. Just lift it up and the sand will fall right off.+ Very durable. I've had this for 2 years and it still looks brand new.Cons+ You're probably reading this because you don't have one. That's a huge con for you. So go get one.

I love this beach blanket! Doesn't take up too much room in my bag, easy to set up and fold away. It dries quickly and the sand doesn't stick. To hold the blanket in place you just fill the corner pockets with sand which is great because I usually had to find large rocks to hold down my previous blanket on a windy day. I used this blanket on a really windy beach day and it did not fly away! I highly recommend this blanket, it's awesome!

Super Handhabung. Vier mal kurz Sand in die Ecken geschaufelt, und schon liegt das Teil wie ein Brett auf dem Strand. Ich hatte befürchtet bei dem weichen Untergrund ggf. Risse beim drauf treten (durch leichtes Einsinken) zu erzeugen. Das ist bei weitem nicht der Fall. Das Laken gibt dann in den Ecken leicht nach und fertig. Handhabung zu zweit extrem easy. Selbst das Einpacken in den kleinen angenähten Sack ist kein Problem. Allerdings empfehle ich noch ein Handtuch drauf zu legen. Das bleibt dann aber fast sandfrei ;-). Extrem leicht und mini Packmaß. Ideal wenn Gewicht gespart werden soll!Waschbar.

Este producto es muy bueno, la arena se resbala como aceite sobre teflon pues solo basta sacudir y esta lista para guardar en la bolsa incorporada la cual a mi parecer es muy grande ya que fácilmente se puede compactar aun mas ahorrando espacio en la mochila.

Sehr leicht, wohl aus Fallschirmmaterial, am Strand sind im Nullkommanix die Ecktaschen mit Sand beschwert, so dass die Decke auch bei Wind nicht davon fliegt. Groß genug für zwei Personen (locker), evtl. mit 1 Kind. Bleibt natürlich auch nicht sandfrei, hilft aber, das Kind halbwegs sandarm umzuziehen. Mühelos wieder im angenähten Transportsäckchen verstaubar.
