🔧 Fuse testing made easy—never miss a beat!
The ESI 302M 20 Amp Fuse Buddy Mini Tester is a compact and efficient tool designed for testing circuit currents up to 20 amperes. Its innovative design allows for easy connection into fuse sockets while ensuring that the circuit maintains fuse protection during testing. The molded ends replicate the shape of a fuse, providing a secure fit that prevents the tester from falling out, making it an essential tool for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.

Worked well but instrument body didn't fit in some spaces
We were looking for an electric drain on the battery so pulled fuses one by one. There were a couple that we couldn't test because there was something large in the way in the fuse box, and this tester did not have a small enough profile to fit in. However, even without being able to test a couple of fuses, we did eventually find our problem. We had already tried this by testing at the battery itself and pulling fuses, but the problem did not show up when we did that, so this was a worthwhile investment.

Good for parasitic draw diagnosis
Good tool for parasitic draw diagnosis. BTW the battery size is A23. Amazon sells the battery much cheaper than you can find anywhere. I recommend a fresh USA alkaline battery for replacement. Buy a couple, it help to keep the tool available when you need it.

Does what it says.
Easy to use as you just pull the fuse and insert the tool. Display shows amperage clearly. No complaints.

Working on an electrical issue, like having an extra set of hands.
Very useful for testing circuits to see actually how much load is on them and how much the load varies, depending on accessories turned on/off. As well as testing the circuit load, since it also displays current draw to 0.01 amp, it works well trying to find a parasitic draw on the circuit and stays securely in place while moving wires around. Most all of my fuses are mini size, I do wish this also could be easily adapted for the standard ATC blade fuse.

Handy tool
Purchased this because I have a high resistance short somewhere in my 1996 Subruban. It works well, but may not solve all your problems because it has a 20A limit. Unfortunately the 30A model does not read as low a current as does the 20A. Too bad they can't combine the two models.

Great tool!!!
This is an excellent tool that should be in every techs tool box. Perfect for amp draw and dark current testing. Cost less than the fuse for your Fluke.

Works great. Can even be inserted into the larger fuses' slots, though you'll need a separate mini fuse to do that.
