Took a chance on Raureni and glad I did.
My family loves prune butter on toast, for baking and as a pierogi filling (yes, pierogi) Really, we like this brand better than our old faithful, Simon Fischer Prune Butter, which is no longer sold. Raureni is a slightly less sweet but has a richer fruit flavor. I will continue buying Raureni, even if Simon Fischer becomes available again. It is pricey, but about the same as SF brand.

The best “magiun de prune”
I have bought five or six jars of Raureni plum jam so far along with other jams. My absolute favorite is the plum jam. With no added sugar this is the best jam in the world. You get a ripe plum in every teaspoon, delicious!
