A strong product with easy fit design. Velcro and conventional straps hold them firmly in place. The velcro so effective that it grips your woollies so keep your jumper clear as it grips very firmly. These are great for protection trousers legs when hiking, scrambling etc, but I needed them to keep sawdust out of my boots while using a chainsaw which is a near daily job this time of year. They are especially good for this purpose and have simple fit making fitting and removal easy especially useful if muddy at the time. Brilliant pair of gaiters for many possible uses.

After wearing these gaiters twice I think they are good value for the price. They appear well made, they look good. The velcro type fasteners works well. I'm 5'7" and 41 shoe size and a medium size fits. There are a few design features that could be improved in my gaiter wearing experience. - A draw string at the top helps gaiters fit every circumference of leg. The lace hook at the bottom would be easier to use if it was longer and fixed to the side nearest to the the laces, when the velcro is closed.

These gaiters are really great. I've taken them on some tough hikes and they're bearing up well. The Velcro closure is very easy to fasten, and it's thick enough that it provides some padding on your shin. They're tough and durable without being too weighty, and the extra stiffness means that they stay up, compared to lesser quality gaiters that tend to bunch up round your ankles when they get wet. I've worn them with waterproof boots hiking through streams and my feet remained dry, so I can confirm they are waterproof. I had a small issue with the purchase that required correspondence with the manufacturers, and they could not have been more friendly, prompt and helpful.

Love these gaiters - plastic under-shoe straps are easy to clean and once fastened you can leave them buckled and put the gaiters on from the back of your foot first; they are a perfect design for both walking and for putting over yard boots if you have a horse - no more bedding and hay down the boots! Definitely recommend these, they are worth every penny The clip on the bottom lace keeps them snugly in place and the grip fasteners are great keeping your legs dry and also the tops of your boots - brilliant!

Very easy to put on. Good sturdy material. I wear them all time. It does say hand wash but I have put them in washing machine it which I was worried the machine might make them lose their waterproofing but so far they are still waterproof.

Inaccurate sizing info, circumstance of my calf is 37cm hence I bought size Small which, according to the sizing chard should be ok for 40cm. It's too tight with leggings on. It won't fit if I wore jeans. Returning it and reordering size M as the item itself looks good quality.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Though not the most durable, if you only plan on using them for hiking every now and again they will do the job for the price point. I have been steadily using them daily for work and over time now (3 months) the buckle part under the boot has inverted so it doesn’t stay clasped and often comes undone. Other than this they still shield my legs from branches and ticks and most water so I am happy!

I bought these for my 'rambling' wifelet. They look so smart on as they are slightly longer than the ones they are replacing, and come up to just below the knee. She LOVES them. She especially wanted velcro fitting gaiters as they are far easier to fasten and take off. A TIP HERE! The Velcro on them is VERY, VERY VERY strong, so I went on line to find out how to make them slightly easier to unfasten, but eventually came up with my own solution which worked a treat. I sprayed the length of the 'hook' side with just a little WD 40, and the difference was fantastic! (In time of course, they will not need this treatment.)

Bardzo solidnie wykonane, jak na załączonych zdjęciach. Mam wątpliwości co do paska zapinanego pod podeszwą (wykonany z tworzywa sztucznego podobnego do silikonu, ale się nie rozciąga), niemniej gdyby kiedyś się uszkodził, to jest dodatkowy haczyk pozwalający umocować do sznurówki obuwia, to wystarczy. Bardzo solidne zapięcie, jak i materiał z jakiego są wykonane.

Die Gamaschen haben mich in die schottischen Highlands begleitet und ich muss sagen, ich habe erst an Ihnen gezweifelt aufgrund Klettverschluss zum Verschließen. Als wir schön in den Sümpfen unterwegs waren, kamen Sie zum ersten mal zum Einsatz. Das Anlegen hat etwas länger gedauert als bei Anderen die einen Reißverschluss hatten. Der Klettverschluss war überraschen stabil und selbst nach viel Wassereinfluss, im Sumpf mit dem Fuß versinken und Kontakt mit Bewuchs, Ästen, Steinen muss ich sagen, der Reißverschluss hielt bombenfest. Am Fuß ist noch ein kleiner Quer Reißverschluss, der zur Sicherung dient. Gebraucht hätte es ihn nicht, es hielt alles. Die Fußschlaufe ist gut verstellbar und einfach in einer Schlaufe verstaubar, so dass sie beim Laufen nicht stört. Das Anlegen war relativ einfach und ging recht gut, dank der tollen Passform der Gamaschen. Sie sind höchst wasserabweisend und haben keinen einzigen Tropfen durch gelassen. Mein Schuh war immer geschützt ! Selbst als ich im Sumpf stand mit Schuh unter Wasser (Der Schuh sollte hierfür natürlich auch wasserdicht sein ;-) ) Die Gamaschen haben es unbeschadet überstanden und einen großartigen Dienst geleistet. Im Gegensatz zu Mitreisenden, die Gamaschen mit Reißverschluss gewählt hatten. Dort war der Verschluss oft verschmutzt und musste gereinigt werden, bevor man ihn verschließen konnte. Einem ist der Reißverschluss sogar gerissen. Das passiert mit Klett nicht. Und Verschmutzung ist absolut kein Problem - sie lassen sich immer verschließen. Rundum ein tolles Produkt, das nicht viel wiegt und sehr schnell trocknet. Würde ich ohne Frage jederzeit wieder kaufen !
