Great model. Excellent fit and detail. Body paint requires Italian red and racing blue. Body decals are in red white and blue. Paint took me @ 26 hours at least, around 24 hours for build. Instructions say no glue on front cowl and parts A3 and A9 but without glue the parts fall off.

Excellent quality, you can always rely on Tamiya. A little tricky with the decals. Overall a good kit.

just finishing this up; best mc model i've ever built. fit and detail rock. I got the front fork set; would highly recommend same, also used new range tamiya lp paints, that too. amazing shiny 2 wheeled rocket ship results.

This model is so realistic the disc brakes Luke real and the hole bike is beautiful

The basic kit is very easy to build. Moderate skills are needed to mask & paint the cowls. Highly recommend airbrushing over spray or hand brushing. When taking your time, it should take about a week to 10 days to complete. A couple of steps in the build are not very clear, so read and study them carefully. Highly suggest purchasing the Tamiya Fork Detail Set, as well as the Detail Up Set by Hobby Designs. The Top Studio Detail Set is also recommended for additional metal details. Constructing the metal chain and the springs for the exhaust do take a tremendous amount of time and skill to complete, but well worth it to really make this build pop. In the photos attached here, all 3 of the detail sets were used.

This plastic model was expertly designed and engineered with everything fitting together perfectly. Some of the instructions were a bit vague but not so much as to interfere with the completion. There are a LOT of parts, of which many are extremely tiny. This kit is definitely not for beginners or kids unless they have a lot of model-building experience. Very fragile when done, so not a toy!
