Not affected by high levels of Chlorine.
This valve was a perfect fit into the side of a pool Chlorinator strictly for the removal (bleeding) of air at the top of the chlorinator after the pool pump starts. This valve performs perfectly!. If the air at the top is not removed, the chlorinator will fail to adequately distribute chlorine into the pool. This valve solved a problem and allows chlorine to flow to the pool to keep the water clear.

This is the best valve so far
I have purchased many different 1/4 inch pvc valves to build commercial systems. This is the best valve so far. Reliable and sturdy, period.

I'm glad I had not put it into service yet
Just opened it. This piece fell out of my lap and fell on the driveway. When I picked it up, the threads had broken off the valve body. This is cheap. I'm glad I had not put it into service yet.
