I find the paper quality better than the Moleskine watercolor sketchpads. The paper in this sketchbook feels thicker, nd hold watercolor and ink better, without bleeding or featheirng. Will be buying this brand going forward.

This little booklet is rad! It's a nice thick paper that held up well to a lot of water, the book was durable and handled 3 weeks of travel, and it's really a fabulous size. I'm a novice painter, so maybe other people would have different standards but this thing was perfect and once it's full I'll get another.

It was my first watercolor experience ever. I took this handbook to the beach and was painting right at the seashore. The pages are a perfect travel size, don’t wrinkle after water application neither after drying. Nice texture, thin enough. The best experience. Definitely will buy more sizes from this brand!

It’s nice watercolor paper but there are bigger and better options price wise

The paper is SUPER thick, which is perfect for the scrapbooking I'm planning to do. It's small, so it'll easily fit in a carry-on or "personal item"-size bag (i.e. purse or backpack). The cover is also nice and the rubber binding band seems sturdy (no popping while Journaling). Highly recommend! I'm using mine for a beach trip.

The media could not be loaded.  I love painting on this sketchbook it’s holds layers well and scans really clear. I don’t have to waste paint and I use this book to practice before I draw my prints :)

This review is for the 95lb/200gsm version with the red cover. This is the 4th watercolor sketchbook brand I have tried, and I really like it. Other brands with lighter weight paper warped a lot with watercolor, and heavier paper didn't take pen/ink very well. This book is really nice to use, lays flat, and the paper curls just a little with water (see photo). The weight of this paper seems to work really well with ink, pencil, and watercolor.

l'm delighted with this sketchbook. The paper is absolutely gorgeous - I've used pen and ink and watercolours in it so far. There's no bleed-through and virtually no buckling.The book opens flat, which means that you can work across both pages easily. It is very well-made and has a handy clear pocket at the back. I just wish there were more pages, it's quite a thin volume, but the quality of the paper makes it well worth the cost and I would definitely buy another. Thank you

Good quality paper. Good for watercolour sketching. A great size for landscapes and easy to put in your pocket when out and about

Great little sketchbook retains watercolours really well and has a handy pocket in the back to slide notes into, comes with a nice orange ribbon to hold your place and elastic to keep it shut.Overall I'm satisfied BUT I would not recommend for anyone suffering asthma, for some reason when I opened my parcel it was very heavily perfumed so much so I have left it outside to air off! I've had books by handbook.co before and they weren't so pungent, perhaps the seller has sprayed it?

Very nice little sketchbook, thick pages with a nice texture. Gf was very happy and she can practice her watercolor now.
