They do protect the floors
They cover your shoes and protect the floors. But, they are made of a plastic material, if I wear them for an extended period of time my feet sweat. It probably stated that in the description, I need to read it more carefully.

I Do NOT Recommend These Covers For Outdoors.
After wearing it as usual on a wet muddy morning I check the bottoms and sure enough there were holes in several places and I wasn't being rough on them either. Just very easy foot falls. No scraping. The fit was fine for size 10 boots. Color is awesome but quality is lacking.Bottom line: I can't recommend these covers for outdoors, they'd be ok indoors. Sorry no pics. Already threw them away.

Perfect
These are great for when it’s raining or if you have people coming into your home to do something, they can put these on their shoes and not have to remove their shoes and makes it easier for them.

More uses than I thought…when traveling I used these to keep the bottom of my shoes off my clothes in the suitcase. SCORE…sanitary in and outside of the home!Quality product with multiple uses before discarding! Yes I would recommend and totally purchase again with a doubt!!
