This is a solid Ethernet adapter in case you're rocking a Macbook Air like me that lacks an ethernet port. My wifi isn't great and so I prefer to connect directly using ethernet (i'm using this adapter as i'm writing this), and it does a great job overall. It's simple to use, just plug and play and speed and performance is great. I've had an issue where if I unplug it and plug it back in, sometimes my computer will not detect it or say that ethernet cable is not connected, and in those cases I have to restart my computer. It happens rarely, and i'm not sure if the issue is on my end (my computer) or the adapters, but its something to note. Overall though, this is a solid adapter and i'm generally satisfied with it!

Plugged into my MacBook Pro, my Mac didn't even blip to say it was doing anything Network just looks like I've plugged in an ethernet cable. Zero other issues to report. The cable looks to be of standard build quality, the connection seems secure, and there are even 2 hidden LED status lights inside the unit that shine through the bottom like any other ethernet jack. Not the greatest placement on the lights, but it works, and that's all I care about for a cheap cable. Highly recommended as a way to beat Apple and not have to pay excessive amounts for a cheap dongle for a port that should come standard on every computer if people we're so obsessed with thin devices. I mean at this point I think I could slice bread with my Mac- what's the point? But I digress, the cable works.System tested: Newer MacBookPro (retina), running Yosemite.

Does not seem to be particularly well built but it worked for what I needed it for.I was staying somewhere without wifi (but with an old desktop computer that was plugged into an Ethernet port). I wanted to plug my laptop into that ethernet jack so I could send and receive emails and files directly to my own computer. I have a Macbook Pro, and it allowed me to connect in fine.

Enables me to connect my iPhone to the internet (via Ethernet cable to router and simple modem), which I do when I want to use the phone online at home, while staying on airplane mode thus not being subjected to WiFi waves.

This thing is amazing. Like many others, I bought an ethernet cord not realizing that Mac Air's aren't compatible. It took me a while to find the right like so that I could download the software because the link on their website wasn't working, but someone posted it on here to answer one of the questions so THANK YOU. Once I downloaded the right driver, it recognized it on its own and I just had to turn off wifi. :)

I ordered this for a computer tech friend in the Dominican Republic where I live. His laptop is an Apple which does not have an Ethernet port, something he sometimes needs when working on the computer of a client. He said that something was available from Apple, but at a high price,. so instead he is using this device plugged into a USB port on his laptop. He says it is working perfectly.

This is a great adaptor! I use it basically every day, and it works perfectly. I have had absolutely no issues with this product. I have been using this product for over a year now, and it is absolutely great. There is no internet lag that I have noticed due to this adaptor, but I only use it for school and work purposes. I would definitely buy this product again.

Does the trick for computers that don't have Ethernet ports but benefit in to tying in an Ethernet jack where wifi coverage is poor. The only slight downside is you have to install a driver on your computer or else it won't work. After that is done, though, it works seamlessly.

Currently using this with a mini PC to provide ethernet access. The link runs at a constant 100 mbps, and doesn't have any hiccups. It's plastic and the cable is a bit stiff, but for the price this is not an issue. The Ethernet port is very low profile, but the cable still plugs in firmly.I did have some issues using this device with Windows 10. It works fine when plugged in at boot, but often it will not re-establish the link if I unplug either the USB cable or the ethernet cable while the computer is running. A reboot always fixes it though, and the connection remains stable until I unplug it again.

Habe mir diesen Adapter als USB 2.0 in Weiß bestellt, da ich diesen vorübergehend für einen Internetanschluss über LAN brauchte.Habe ihn an meinen 13" 2014er MacBook Air mit dem neusten Softwarestand (Yosemite) angeschlossen. Anschließend das Landkabel angesteckt und sofort lief das Internet. Kein installieren von Software nötig bei der USB 2.0 Version.Verarbeitungsmäßig macht das Teil auch einen guten Eindruck. Wie es im Langzeittest ausschaut wird sich erst noch zeigen.Für mich persönlich für 10,99€ eine klare Kaufempfehlung, da der Preis des originalen Adapters schon fast eine Frechheit ist meiner Meinung nach.

acquistato per sostituire una scheda lan non piu' funzionante su portatile. il dispositivo funziona perfettamente, ha pero' bisogno dei driver per funzionare che si trovano benissimo. costruzione ben fatta e buona qualita' dei materiali. ci sono inoltre led integrati (sella versione bianca da me acquistata) che si illuminano in trasparenza e segnalano l'accensione e la trasmissione. spedizione e consegna perfetti.

Ich habe diesen Adapter gekauft, um für meine Endian Firewall 2.5.2 auf einem Intel DN2800MT eine dritte Netzwerkkarte zu ermöglichen.Was soll ich sagen: Es funktioniert perfekt!Erst hatte ich Bedenken, da sich das Gerät auf einem Windows-System als Massenspeicher anmeldet, auf dem der Treiber (aber nur für Windows-Systeme) liegt, dankenswerterweise wird die Karte aber von der Endian Firewall nach einem Neustart sofort erkannt und kann genutzt werden.Achtung: Wenn an die Netzwerkkarte direkt ein Gerät angeschlossen wird, wie in meinem Fall z.B. ein WLAN-Hotspot, ist unter Umständen ein Crossover-Kabel notwendig!

Habe mir diesen Adapter für mein Lenovo X1 Ultrabook bestellt. Wollte anfangs den Originalen von Lenovo kaufen, doch der war teurer und ausserdem zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht verfügbar. Habe mich dann für diesen entschieden.Adapter in den USB 2.0 anschluss, Ethernetkabel rein und schon hat es funktioniert.Verarbeitung ist auch Top.
