It works!
Ok I really had my doubts that this vest could calm my dog but decided to give it a try. The sizing is off which was frustrating. My dog is very small, 11 lbs, but the small was way too tight and choking her. I had to send back and get the medium. The medium is really too big but it works. Now I am pleasantly surprised that this actually does help calm my dog during thunderstorms, fireworks, etc. And she really seems to like it. Comes right over to me when I bring it out so I can put it on. I mean she's still a little nervous but it definitely helps! So have to say I'm impressed and would buy again. 4 stars for sizing, otherwise a definite 5.

Best product to relieve separation anxiety from owners
I’ve been trying for months to get my four year old cockapoo to go to bed easily and sleep through the night without having a temper tantrum or waking up in the middle of the night and I finally found the cure. I purchased this breathable vest and also useNutramax Solliquin Calming... 1 pill at night to help ease his anxiety. He sleeps in a medium size crate with a crate cover and a soft padding. I put a white noise machine and a night light in his room and this has been a saving grace to getting him to sleep through the night. He lost his best friend a 12.5 year old Cavalier a year ago and it’s taken me this long to actually get him to settle down with sadness and not eating for a while. The issue with the eating was that I change the protein back to lamb and potato small breed kibble and added a quarter of a little container of wet lamb and potato small breed blue buffalo basic and he loves it.I’m so happy I figured it out after all this time

Worked so well until he attacked it
This worked so well to calm my dog down at my son's baseball games or anytime that involved triggers for him to get hyped up. We had it for three weeks and then one day in the car he launched and attack on it and destroyed it completely. Was so proud of himself too, you could see it on his face. Would love to get another one but can't afford to get one every few weeks, so trying a clicker to further train him. The vet gave me medication for him ( I didn't even ask she just handed me a bottle- it's that bad) but I dont want to drug up my dog. This works so well if your dog will leave it on.

Rio loves this it's a little snug , yet that is what it's meant to do protect the body .
My pup, Rio loves her hug she loves to wear it all the time even when the weather is just right . Just to be completely comfortable.

Better for female dogs
It's a nice material, has adjustment options, easy to put on. The problem is the back strap is too far back and ends up to close to my male dog's private parts. I had to really adjust the neck forward in order to not crush his man parts. I have a WFT and ordered a medium.

Dog ripped it off
The neckline is very poorly designed and would not keep the shirt in position. My dog ended up ripping it off

It's just my dog. Didn't help her. It's a little stiff in the neck.
