Really easy to set up
Very easy to set up and use, basically plug in and go! There are very clear instructions with the speaker with pictures, I bought this for my 85 year old parents and they have no problem with using it. The sound quality is great and they are now able to hear the voices clearly without having to have the volume at ear splitting levels!

Love this speaker
I discovered a different speaker while browsing YouTube that i was impressed with but when i went searching for it on Amazon i found this setup.This speaker has improved my tv viewing experience greatly. My hearing isnt very bad but was having difficulty catching some dialogue of shows which ruined the experience totally.This speaker has solved that problem. It is simple to setup and use. The sound is good. I do think it is expensive for what it is but worth it. Consider it an investment. I would recommend people to buy it if you feel your hearing isn't what it used to be.

Fully featured with more connection options than expected
Was very impressed with the unit and the clear instructions.So many ways to connect, it would be difficult to fault that.I ended up using a s/spdif splitter so that I still had the option of using the installed soundbar.All was looking good until turning the volume knob and got nothing from the speakers.Plugged in earbuds and sound was fine so just faulty speakers or that part of the circuit.I did however, discover that there was an echo so that the time lapse was noticeable from the soundbar and this unit.That is a problem as I had hoped the RF would not have that issue.My reason for the remote speaker was to add some control for my wife and the volume knob looked to be perfect as the small fiddly remote option would be beyond her. So, I will have to opt for the soundbar or remote but not both unless I can find a way to sort out the lag.Returned the unit and now starting again for a solution with a large volume knob.

Fantastic
Changed my life.I have been deaf in one ear since the age of 8. I have struggled for years trying to hear the bedroom TV properly. I have subtitles on all the time, but unfortunately not all programmes especially older films. have subtitles displayed.Now that I have this speaker I sit it on my cabinet next to my deaf ear "its fantastic". I don't need the subtitles on at all...Thank You for a great item.

doesnt make a lot of difference, volume keeps going off, every timeyou get up to move the dial, it comes back on, so annoying, not really worth the cost

It's a must have if you are hard on hearing
I first bought one of these for my father 10 years ago, who was hard of hearing and kept having the volume on tv really loud. Now bought one for my partner. He thinks it's great as he can have the unit right next to him without disturbing others. Once the unit is charged you can move the unit any where around the house. I have even connected it to the radio and used the portable unit out side in the garden.
