/ Hair Color Mascara / 102 Copper Chestnut

My hairdresser told me about this product several years ago. She called it a hair “mascara.” I’ve been using it ever since to cover gray hair around my front hairline, especially in the area in front of my ears. It takes me less than 2 minutes to apply and is very effective, as well as being inexpensive. I love it! It washes out when I wash my hair, so is not permanent, which I like. HINT: Use quick short strokes and hold the hair behind down a bit when applying because, if you’re not careful, hair can get caught in the wand brush and can be very hard to untangle!!

I have a couple cute blonde wigs and brush this on to make dark roots..... looks real and washes out.Hard to find mascara that works this well.. . have to be careful though, and not twirl the brush when applying (to avoid creating a tangle'y mess).

Doesn't cover

This used to be a wonderful 5 star product. But, the last time I ordered Masc-A-Gray in both auburn and dark brown, the once non-offensive neutral smell has changed to a smell with an overpowering fragrance. I recommend removing the fragrance from this product back to the original formula.

This product works great to cover gray in between hair color appointments. Very easy to use.
