I was looking for a sturdy, basic drum for my little boy that made a good sound --not a plasticky one. I went with this one. And we love it! It makes a low pitch drumming sound that isn't bothersome. I'm rather amazed that he hasn't found a way to break it. It was made well. If you are looking for a good kids' drum, go with this one!

Bought for my grandson. It has held up to the stress of a two year old and he loves banging on it. I was quite surprised, I wasn’t sure it would endure the abuse of such a young and enthusiastic boy.

Very sturdy but has a beautiful simple design. The tone is nice. It is almost like a historical piece.

It’s made in China so yes, it’s pretty much a throwaway toy. It serves its purpose for now but I’m certain this won’t be a hand me down. We really wanted a wooden drum though and it serves its purpose. I do enjoy this more than electronic stuff.

I bought this drum for my 18 month granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it! She stands on it and tosses it around and it has held up extremely well. She is becoming quite the little drummer. I highly recommend this drum.

My son loves it, and it is very sturdy, thank goodness. Great if you want something that is a real instrument not a cheap plastic "drum" that your kid won't play with.

I needed it for a photoshoot; ordered two, one red and one blue. The red one did not come with a red strap as pictured. The blue one did. It's a good size for a kids 5 and under, but they could probably poke right through it if they jammed too hard with the sticks. In all, it served my needs, but doubt it will hold up as a regular toy.
