Udderly Smooth Extra Care Hand/Body Deep Moisturizing Cream with 20% Urea, Unscented, 8 Ounce

Bought this as I developed hand and foot syndrome from chemo pills (which is a common side effect). I apply this to the palms of my hands (and fingers) and the soles of my feet twice a day. It helps a lot. It doesn’t work like magic and all of a sudden everything is normal again, at least not with me, but it reduces the dryness and reduces the chances of getting blisters. For folks in that situation, consider liner socks to reduce friction and gloves when doing something that creates friction on the hands. And consistently use this cream. I even told my oncologist I started using this and he said good choice. (Yes he should have mentioned this beforehand).

This is a nice hand and body creme to help shed some dead skin. It will leave the skin soft and moist. It has no scent which I like. It is a little thin which is the only reason for 1 less star. You can always trust this brand for quality ingredients.

This is really an excellent product. I have tried various lotions for keratosis pilaris and dry skin. Treatments for keratosis pilaris include: urea, AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid), and BHAs (salicylic acid). Amlactin (lactic acid) works but the smell used to be weird- not sure if improved now. I used cerave SA lotion when it only cost around $10; salicylic acid is a less expensive ingredient and that product is way too expensive now. My 2 favorite treatments for kp are this 20% urea cream and lotion with ~12% glycolic acid. I have seen many articles with recommendations for lotions/creams for kp that are way too expensive. Not necessary to spend so much when Udderly Smooth makes unscented urea cream and there are also unscented glycolic acid lotions/creams available for under $20. Another lotion I have not tried yet but is a good product based on ingredients and price is Eucerin Roughness Relief; for those that dont need as high a concentration of urea (kp not as severe), that would be a good option. -advice from a medical student who has very dry, rough, flaky skin (without lotions) and keratosis pilaris

Recommended by our dermatologist for my daughter's feet. She had a condition where sheets of skin would peel off her feet. She uses this after every shower and there was a huge difference in 1 week.

I retrieved this package from my mailbox early this am. It arrived in 3 day. It was mailed in a standard blue and white Amazon slightly bubbled envelope. Item were intact and without any leakage or any other damage. However, as you can see from the attached photos, the jars are only about 1/2 to 2/3 filled. Moreover, there wasn't any type of interior protective sealing. Nevertheless, I do not think that the product has been used. I think that the manufacturer purposely did not fill the jar to the indicated 8 oz capacity. The only reason that I am not returning them is because the price paid after discounts was fairly equitable for a total of approximately 10 ounces of the product and I don't feel like being bother with returning them. Of course, I can not yet speak to the long term effectiveness of the product. However, by applying a small amount on my hands it has a nice consistency and texture, it is unscented, doesn't have an unpleasant natural scent, it absorbed quickly without leaving a white residue, and it is non greasy, i.e. I can readily snap fingers after application. Because I feel cheated by the half filled jars, I was torn between a 2 star and a 3 star rating. I went with 3 stars based on the swiftness of delivery, receiving undamaged products, and my impressions of the product after applying to my hands. I did cancel my auto delivery subscription. I refuse to pay full price for a full jar of a product when that is not what I am receiving. I am really disappointed and frustrated about that. The companies who do this, and sadly nowadays there are a lot of them, should be ashamed of themselves but, alas, they are not. I recommend, if available locally, purchasing this product from a brick and mortar store or from some other vendor.

Thi is a great cream with high urea content for dry skin. Only wish it was more easily absorbed.
