I researched rice cookers quite intensively so knew when I bought it that this one was well recommended. My daughter bought a different highly recommended brand and we’ve compared notes. I’m more than happy with this item, I’ve used it for various rice types with great success. Up until owning this Ive learnt to manage perfectly well with hob top rice cooking, but the standard of cooked rice this produces outclasses anything I’ve been able to cook. I like the simplicity of the parts as well as it is so easy to clean. The accompanying recipe book isn’t very well presented and looks like it’s been hastily typed up, however, although it doesn’t look in the least bit appealing, it does cover all the bases, and is in it’s way, helpful. The times taken to cook the rice are on a par with stove top cooking but as this little machine does everything its value lies in not having to attend it while it cooks perfectly, and the cleaning job at the end is swift and easy. We can cook up to six/eight servings (depending on greed) and for that, this cooker doesn’t take up much storage space.

Cooks well and fast enough. Food tastes really good. But the inner pot is not ceramic, my only gripe. Apart from that, it is compact, easy to wash and store. Cooks a decent quantity at a time, for 2 to 3 people.

So I had a small cheap rice cooker which worked teLly well I'd sorted out the way to cook,and it stuck occasionally. But I fancied a bit of an upgrade, oh what a mistake, nothing I try gets a bowl cooked without any sticking , it's terrible, I even spent a whole afternoon testing amounts to water ,and got through a whole bag of rice. I cook with Jasmin rice, but like I say sticks every time and it's annoying, it cleans when soaked easy enough, but I just want to cook my rice and have it not stick. So wish I'd kept my old one, if anyone who has one of these and has got Jasmin to cook non stick, please let me know, bare in mind I love one and only cook for me so don't want a lot. My usual non failure in the old one, 1 cup rice to 2 cups water, but I've tried more or less no luck. This also imo has a problem, as it has no fuzzy logic, basically that's the machine works out when to stop,that's what my old one did, this has 2 settings " white" or "quick", first cooks for 35 mins every time, and ends with a 12 minute countdown. The quick does it about 5minutes less,same sticky results. I'm gonna try one more thing next time,and that is when the 12minuye timer pops up,I'm gonna take a look. Otherwise I'd honestly give this one a miss, if it's a rice cooker you want, stick with a nice £20 there as good if not better, very disappointed with this one.

Great little rice cooker, easy to use and easy to clean, love that the power cord is detachable which makes for neater storage. Price isn’t bad either, bought on a discount. When it comes to cooked rice, not a lot gets left behind, and a quick soak in water washes it all away.
