I have a pretty heavy 27" monitor with these massive legs that stick out too far, so I tried mounting it on a monitor arm that was screwed into the desk. No good, too much wobbling. I got this is a solution and is perfect. The base is heavy and rigid, but compact enough to keep hidden and is incredibly sturdy

It's a cheap monitor stand so you shouldn't expect much. It's not great quality, but value for money is! Would highly recommend this to someone on a budget. If you can afford better though, get something better. The sliders are a bit finicky to get locked into the position you want and all joints are fairly stiff, but once it's all setup it's great! I have it being used for a bit of a weird use in a 4 monitor setup, and it worked well after some modification to it.

Certainly works, but much heavier than it need to be for portability. Most of the arm could be significantly smaller and still be strong enough

These stands are a bit heavy to carry around for traveling but when I need to set up a semi-portable workstation for when I am away from my home or office these work great. I have two of them and use them with 18in 2k portable monitors. I got a set of thumbscrews to use for mounting the monitors to the stands. Again - I’m not carrying these around everyday but if I’m setting up somewhere for an extended period of time these are great for raising my portable monitors off the table and being more stable than many of the folding stands included with these types of monitors.

This looks awesome and like exactly what I needed. I thought so for the first 30 days, but now it's been 33 days and I just realized the failure of the design and now my return window is closed. The stand raises fine, and tilts AT THE BASE just fine, with knobs to tighten and loosen. But at the pivot point where you attach your monitor (at the VESA point), there is rotation and tilt ability. Problem is - you can't adjust it. Not even with the thinnest of needle-nose pliers. And unfortunately, WEARSON has bad quality control. I bought 2 of these, one appears to be adjusted properly and can be rotated/tilted as needed. The other is too loose (or came loose at 33 days). Now, it acts as if my 24" monitor is too heavy and it just tilts all the way down no matter what I do. (It's not too heavy, because the other stand is still just fine). No wrench or needle-nose pliers can get in there. Can't get a socket in there either because they stuck another bolt right in the middle where you otherwise might be able to slip the tiniest of sockets in there... maybe. Probably not. And it's not a standard bolt/nut design, so you can't even tighten the bolt-side while trying to somehow hold the nut in place. The bolt side is just a little flat circle piece, and the nut is completely covered up by their metal stand. Looks like they literally bent the metal around those nuts to make SURE you would never be able to access them for tightening. It's the dumbest of all designs. Super upset that I didn't realize it prior to my return window closing. Do NOT buy this product.

My orginial monitor (22") stands stood too tall to fit under th shelf above my desk. These stands allowed the monitors fit prefectly under the shelf with room to spare, they will adjust almost all the way to the desk surface. Very easy to install, four screws, that's it. Well worth it.

The stand is sturdy with good surface finishing. It comes with a screwdriver and some standard M4 screws and some optional screws. My portable monitor uses M3 screws for VESA mounting, so it would've been perfect if some were also included. I had some spare M3 screws laying around so it wasn't a major issue.

So I like to carry an external monitor for my laptop when I travel for some time or go on holiday, so I have chosen a cheap 23.8in 2560x1440 monitor (Prechen HD-238, ASIN B0BGHMQH3B) which is cheap very light at 3.5Kg, but also being cheap has a rather flimsy and inflexible bottom stand. There are cheap regular VESA stands for around £20, but I bought this one even if it costs rather more because it is lighter than most and foldable. It looks like a quality item, and it even comes with a small screwdriver, a set of appropriate (M4) screws, and a spare set of screws, as they are easy to lose. The only limitation is that in order to be compact it is a bit short, so it does not allow portrait rotation of 24in monitor (unless one puts it on some books etc.). It has been a good choice: it is indeed foldable to a small size, it is lighter than most, and it is also quite robust, so a good choice as a stand to carry with me when travelling. It is somewhat expensive, but still good value, and it is the only foldable, lightweight stand that I could find, so I am satisfied.
