This is an excellent choice of brand and oil for a 2012 Chevy Equinox
With so many different brands of oil out there, it can be difficult to make a selection. This Valvoline Advanced Full Synthetic motor oil is an excellent choice for a 2012 Chevy Equinox. I've never had any problems with it and it has the DEXOS label on it which is recommended for this type of vehicle. The oil seems to last for a reasonable amount of time, and if you miss your next scheduled oil change, chances are that this oil will still have enough life left in it to buy you a few more weeks or miles until your next change.
