I needed a thermos for work because I don't like paying $5 for a cup of mediocre coffee. I had been using a no-name brand, but by the time I'd get to work, my coffee was almost cold. I was going to get a Stanley since they were all the rage last year, but then I came across this Thermos. To start, it's like 20 - 25% cheaper than a Stanley. It has a handle, making it less likely I'll drop it, and I like the stainless steel look. Plus, the cup on top is great to have.So, let's get right down to it.... does it keep my coffee hot? Well, hot seems a bit extreme. Very warm is more like it. You won't burn yourself, that's for sure, but you won't need a microwave as long as you drink it fast. It gets 5 stars because it's that much better than what I had been using. It's functional, easy to clean, durable, and it doesn't leak. If I were ordering again, I might even get a bigger size because when all is said and done, this 40 oz holds like 3 big mugs.

First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the rubberized handle. The soft grip is comfortable to hold on to, so it is easier to carry, unlike the plastic handles on the older models. I love the brushed stainless steel finish with the Thermos logo inscribed on the bottle, ( not a sticker). The finish will not chip off like the painted version of this. ( I read from other customer reviews ) The outer cap is stainless steel also with plastic on the inside. The 40 oz size is perfect for several cups of coffee or tea. This thermos is very durable and keeps drinks hot or cold for a long time. Compared to other brands, of lesser quality, it is a good value for the money. I put it in my backpack and go to work without leaks. i use a long handled bottle brush inside to clean it by hand, or it Is dishwasher safe. I highly recommend this Thermos. I’m a happy customer!!!!

I bought this 40oz Thermos bottle Before during the holidays. . I use it to store coffee during the week after brewing a full pot of coffee with my 12 cup coffeemaker. This Thermos bottle can store up to 12 cups of coffee and stays hot and warm for up to 12 hours. Well designed with a slotted pour feature in the screw-in cap without having to unscrew the entire cap from the bottle. Lightweight, well insulated with a durable handle. The bottle chosen is Midnight Blue and almost appears matted black on the exterior color. This Thermos bottle is perfect for storing hot and cold liquids for work or away from home events and activities. Highly recommended!

This Thermos keeps your beverages hot for about 18 to 24 hours. Beware of filling the Thermos all the way up to the top as the hot beverage will expand. Do not tighten the cap beyond a light hand-tightened force. Hot air builds up inside the Thermos and if the cap is too tight, you'll have an extremely hard time unscrewing it when it's full.
