So Pretty
I really enjoy these lights. I put them around the perimeter of a 4 x 8 trellis and they are beautiful. The bubble globes are very pretty and sturdy. I've had them for 6 months and they are getting weak so I'm trying to see if I can find a replacement battery

Beautiful solar powered lights.
When I first opened the box I was immediately impressed. I thought they were going to be little cheap hollow globes. However, they are not! They are a heavy duty, sturdy solid bulb, which greatly exceeded what I expected. The solar panel and housing also seems solid and very waterproof. There are two buttons on the back. One is power and the other is mode. There are two modes, on and flashing. The flashing are fine but I prefer the steady on mode. . As for brightness, you will be impressed. However, I know some people have said they are too dim. If you are planning on using them as a reading light...then yes. Too dim for that, but these are meant to be decorative lights to add ambiance and that is exactly what they do. We have them on our patio/deck and woven into a lattice wall and they look wonderful. I also have another set along the railing and will probably be purchasing another for over the trellis because it would look awesome! The charge really will last all night. I have charged for about 6 hours in sunlight and while I don't typically get up when it is still dark out, I did over the weekend to go to a show and at 4 am they were still lit up. I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion. And I tell it like it is... These are lovely little decorative lights. I recommend these lights to anyone that's looking for an accent light and doesn't want to run extra wires. And best of all, since they are solar powered they won't be running up your electric bill! The product info :Total light length:19.7ft with 30 LEDs, each led spacing:0.1M. 2 different modes : Steady on & Blinking Waterproof: Suitable for Indoor and Outdoor use.Solar panel built-in rechargeable Ni-MH batteries

Illumination from illumination!
For disclosure purposes, I did receive a discount code to purchase this product for review. However, I was looking to purchase lights like this and I like these lights! LED and solar powered means no worrying about batteries or plug access. I haven't decided exactly where I'll put these, but my original intent was to hang them around my porch to add a nice lighting touch and replace the single unattractive porch light that I have. They drape just fine from a beam on the deck covering, and I'm sure I'll like them more once I find a decent hanging arrangement. The wiring between lights seems solid and to be a good gauge. The lights themselves are covered nicely and I think will be safe to be outside in the elements. I did not try the ground stand/stake that came with it yet, as I want to hang these and am not sure about using them down low. I imagine that these could also be purposed as hedge/bush/landscaping lights, and I think that could be the reason this set has a 'flash' mode. I'll probably not use them as such, but if you're looking for something to decorate come holiday time, you might like these for that as well.

solr is hit or miss - not very bright
I purchased close to 10 of these strings of lights when the neon in my shop windows caused a fire. I wanted to replace the neon with something different, cute, and energy efficient. each set was a different style but they were all from this same manufacturer/seller. I am very disappointed. Firstly, using the battery power, these lights are dull at best. They certainly aren't that bright LED we are used to seeing. They were packaged well, and come with the solar panel/battery pack (batteries not incl)and a stake to position it in the ground or planter. So if you are looking for strands of lights that aren't too bright for your room or tree, these may be good for you! But if you're looking for bright...these ain't it :( The power/solar/battery box has two buttons. They are those bubble buttons that u can't tell if its on or off and they aren't labelled! So, which is the power, which is the flash settings? who knows. So esp if you're looking to use the solar aspect, it will take you a while to figure out bc they aren't pre-charged and it has to be On for the solar power to charge up. So, it took a bit to figure that out and in the meanwhile, we needed them so had to put 4AA batteries in each. After that, we tried every combination of button pressing to get this solar function going. Some worked, some didn't. By the time we figured out that some weren't working and they were generally useless for our purpose, the 30 days was up and they were no longer refundable. I purchased these at a discount (thank goodness) in return for an honest review - and on the website it asks us to contact the seller if there are any problems in order to rectify the situation before leaving a bad review. I gave them the respect of doing so and...shocker...they never got back to me and thats what put me over the 30 days. So now I'm stuck with lights that while i did get a discount for, don't work as well as your standard dollar store xmas lights which are 1/10 the price. On a positive note, the designs of these lights is very cute! They are made of a soft plastic/rubber. If you are just looking for a string or two and you don't need them to be very bright, then these might be good for you. Keeping track of which button does what when may not be difficult with one or two, or you can install batteries and not have an issue. But to me, that defeats the purpose. I hope this helps you! Please lmk below!

Very nice subtle lighting
I bought two sets of these lights to put around our screened in deck. I love the way they look. Nice sized bulbs that are clearish yet have an icy crackle look to them. I was able to easily hang them and place the solar cells towards a sunny spot. With only a few hours of remaining sunlight, the cells charged and I have nice subtle lighting around my deck. On the solar cell, there are two switches. One is an on/off and the other changes the mode of the lights. They can either be steady or twinkling. Both modes look nice. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I will be buying two more sets in the near future so that I can finish wrapping the area.
