Highly recommended this if you want perfect crimps every time. I make 4ga battery cables on a regular basis for work, and this thing works great! Hoping it lasts for years to come.

The media could not be loaded.  It took quite a few years of messing around with budget stuff to finally commit to something like this.OH BOY I have never felt better doing things right the first time with ONE TOOL!Seriously I think this type of crimping is better than hexagonal style. -You can go in deeper with this universal style - Dieless.....that alone is worth itSome considerations. In the manual is a description for how many pumps.....I personally felt that was too little.I tripled it at least, with me not stopping until I could barely squeeze most of the time BUT with doing thatit kind of smushed the sides of the removable pins. Look at photos. I still don't need to replace though,Get these, forget everything else. And the warranty is amazing.

Auf der Suche nach einer hydraulischen Crimpzange die dem Prinzip der Dornpressung entspricht bin durch Empfehlung von außerhalb auf dieses Tool gestoßen und bei Amazon fündig geworden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend, die Presszange solide verarbeitet und die Handhabung durch den Pumphebel mit Rückstellfeder vor allem einhäng möglich. So kann gleichzeitig zum Pumpen mit der anderen Hand am Kopf das Kabel im fixierten Kabelschuh gehalten werden.Die Dimension des Anschlags und Pressdorns ist für Kabelschuhe kleiner 25qmm etwas zu massiv, da wird das ganze Rohrteil des Kabelschuhs einfach platt gedrückt. Das ist der Verbindung von Kabel zu Kabelschuh nicht unbedingt abträglich, jedoch kann es zu Problemen in Sicherungsgehäusen kommen, deren Öffnung auf runder Kabelsuhenden ausgelegt ist. Wer also überwiegend 25qmm aufwärts arbeitet, erhält mit dieser Presszange ein top Tool. Die Lieferung aus den USA erfolgte im angegebenen Zeitraum und ohne Mehrkosten.

I installed a solar system in my camper van. I used all larger awg wire for every component. This crimper worked great with all sizes used.I like the guideline for number of pumps for wire/lug sizes, but many times needed to use more pumps. At least there was a GUIDELiNE to apply.One thing is that it doesn't come with a case. I've contacted the seller for a case, as the price for this tool is not cheap. We'll see what they say.Their return/repair/replace policy is excellent and it shows they are confident in the quality of this crimper to offer this type of policy.
