It's a dual material case in 1. Back let's the cover shine. Side has great button covers, very accurate and love the detail. This is what a case should be. Dropped twice from pocket, no issues. Glass on back and front protected by raised bezel , camera not covered but it's gorilla glass, no worries. Oh and most of my high end headphones connect as the headphone jack poet is normal to wide cut out, not small like some cases where I always need adapters. Very satisfied. Saw the drop test and was impressed. Edit, noted weeks later after dropping against it has some material unlike cheaper cases. it's what I call dead material, absorbs impact on drop before a slight bounce. Impressive for me as I tend to drop phones alot.

the power button side has a flimsy piece of plastic covering it, and doesn't work well at all for protecting that side of the case. the rest is perfect, but it also sticks up enough th at its hard to get your thumb into the fingerprint sensor! i t hink this is an inherent design flaw that has nothing to do with ringke who are usually 100% spot on with their cases. this isn't the first, but the fourth i've bought from ringke. i've bounced my cellphone like a basketball before off the ground with their cases, and not a scratch on the phone, i just wish this one was a tiny bit better.
