It blew up
Worked great for the first few months, just now I went to plug the cable into the adapter and it made a *pop* noise and blew a blast of hot metallic smelling air, I unplugged it immediately from the surge protector and saw the cable was really hot too. Lucky It didnt burn my hand or cause a fire.
