Large Steel La Hacienda Alexis Log Burner/Fire Pit with BBQ Grill Set, Spark Guard Lid & Hand Tool (Tall Garden Patio Heater, Chimenea BBQ Chiminea)

If you're looking for a reasonable sized, easy to use fire pit that can double as a BBQ then this is for you. It was easy to put together and is quite robust but is still easy to move around. I've used it as a simple fire and no problems. Have yet to use as a BBQ so I have no idea how it will compare with formal BBQ equipment, but it looks great in the garden so I am very happy.

Recieved this fairly quick, unfortunately the mesh hood had a small hole near the rim. Can I thank Ivan for his swift excellent customer service to solve the problem. This fire pit is sturdy, three round robust legs, Quite heavy so it won't blow over in a light wind. Only thing, the fork to remover the dome Should be longer, remember this item has hot logs and sparks from the wood so you need to wear a protective glove if your using it to cook food or add more fuel. It must always be stood on non combustible surface, not wood or plastic decking as some have asked. It recommends a protective cover to be used when not in use to prevent rusting, as it's not rust proof. Over all it's looking good

Liked it all, just a small point about the drainage hole though. Ours didn’t drain well so collected water during early July rains. The small hole got blocked by dirt and leaf particles (even though the lid was on). Perhaps enlarge this hole just a little?

We needed a Fire Pit as a way of keeping warm in our garden in December when 6 of us met up. This was dispatched extremely quickly and arrived on time. It looks good and served it's purpose well. Looking forward to using it on cool Spring/Summer evenings.

We only used this a few times last year when I uncovered it this year it had rusted on the lid in many places and the mesh lid had corroded in many places to the degree that there was a lot of large holes. In my opinion a total waste of money.

It was worth paying the extra money, for what is a solid and sturdy fire pit, which I’m sure will last for many years to come! Delivery was as promised and I would thoroughly recommend this item to any future prospective purchasers.

Very sturdy. Looks good. Easy to assemble. Grill for cooking is set very low inside the fire pit and no option of fixing the grill provided any higher.If there is a good fire in the base the food is too close to the embers. Grill cannot be fitted higher even with DIY as the top space is wider. Will have to buy a big grill and fix it somehow which is disappointing as this item was expensive.Way more than I intended spending in the first place but it was available and delivered on time.
