I was looking for a new thermos coffee cup for my husband for Christmas and decided on this one. I really liked its compact size and cute design—it’s much more stylish than a typical travel mug. The performance has been fantastic; the cup does an excellent job of holding temperature. The Fellow Carter Move is hands down the best travel mug I’ve used. It keeps coffee hot for hours, but what really sets it apart is the taste—no weird metal flavor, just coffee that tastes like it does from a real ceramic mug. The splash guard is smart too, slowing down the pour so I don’t end up with hot coffee all over me when walking or driving. It’s sturdy, leak-proof, and easy to toss in a bag. The only small downside is the wide mouth doesn’t fit under every coffee machine spout, but it’s worth the extra step to pour it in. Overall, it feels designed for people who actually care about coffee.

This is an excellent insulated, travel coffee mug with a slosh preventer. With this mug, you have to leave the screw-on lid off to drink, but it has a metal strainer that prevents sloshing when it’s sitting in your cup holder. The lid is a screw-on, insulated lid that prevents any leakage and keeps liquids warm longer. It totally seals the mug so you can carry it in a coat pocket or backpack. The top screws on with the strainer still inside so you can’t lose it. The inside of the mug is enamel coated which prevents any hint of metallic taste. You shouldn’t use a metal utensil to stir your drink because you can damage the coating. It’s very durable, very lightweight, and fits perfectly in your hand. I’ve had one of these mugs for a while and bought this red one for my wife. She loves the quality, size, feel and color. It’s not a huge cup of coffee, but holds a large cuppa Joe with room for milk if you so desire…

This travel mug works well. It's attractive, keeps your beverage hot, and cleans up easily. I like the ceramic interior, but experience with the old glass vacuum bottles taught me I wouldn't want to drop it. I like the compact size too - it fits into my bag nicely. Caution: The mug will leak if overfull (above the bottom rim) or shaken. I carry it upright and it hasn't leaked from that position; however, I wouldn't want to try it lying on its side. It also tends to drip down the side when you pour out of it, so take adequate care (I use it to bring a second cup to work, so I'm not drinking out of the mug itself).

As the headline says, so far so good. Haven't had a chance to see how long it lasts, but hopefully I'll update this review in the future. So far, a definite thumbs-up. Pros: --Design is clean and minimalist (I got the 12-oz white version). Also seems very robust and simple - almost nothing to break. It fits well in my car's cupholder (CR-V) and under my coffee machine's outlet nozzle (Keurig K40 - nothing fancy). --Ceramic coating does preserve the flavor. Doesn't taste so odd any more. --Doesn't spill easily. With the lid fully screwed on, I haven't had it spill even when full (just from lightly turning it over a few times in my hands). --Keeps in the heat well. So far the longest I've left coffee in it has been only two hours, but it's done very well keeping things hot. Cons: --While the design is pretty sleek overall, it does require two hands to open the lid when driving, which is a primary use case for me. But it's a minor issue compared to spill prevention. --The lip of the mug (against which you place your lips) is stainless steel, which may get a little chilly, and adds a very slight taste to the coffee. But it would have been really difficult to add a ceramic coating to this part and still keep a good seal and a good price point, so I'm not dinging any points for this. The only thing left to see is longevity. Four stars. Edit 4/14/22: I've used this thing literally every day since I got it. So far only a couple minor dents and dings, and it's held up pretty well. Upgrading to 5 stars. Edit 6/27/23: I'd recommend hand washing (at least the main body of the mug - can probably put the lid and splash guard in the dishwasher). The interior coating is fine, so the taste isn't affected but the exterior coating has started to bubble and flake off after maybe 100 dishwasher cycles. There's also been coating failure spreading from the dents and dings on the top of the main body (just below the stainless-steel lip), which is just normal with use. Again, though, I use this thing literally every day and wash it maybe twice a week in the dishwasher, so I'd say I've gotten my money's worth and am happy with it.

The bad: It does not retain "hot" (definition: it burns my throat if I drink too fast) temperature for 12 hrs. At the most, probably 4-5 hours for a still enjoyable cup of coffee/beverage. After 8 hours it becomes a bit cooler than lukewarm. The REAL bad: the silicone ring soaks up odour like a dry sponge and it doesn't leave no matter what you do with it. I used dish-washing detergent to clean the mug before use and it now smells like detergent (even when I poured coffee into it right after). The body of the mug smells fine, so the ceramic coating does work to repel odours, just not the lid. It's good but not great. Was expecting much more considering the asking price. Update: Liquid gathers inside the crevices of the lid and you'll almost always have to tap on the rim of the bottle to prevent drips. Sometimes tapping will not prevent all drips, especially bothersome if you have drinks other than water.

Llegó perfecto, un día antes de lo previsto por Amazon. Ya no traen la fundita negra de los anteriores pequeñitos, venía protegido por una bolsita transparente de plástico, pero no me importa. Es difícil rayarlo, hay que hacer un poco de presión. Ojo, que sí se abollan si se caen al suelo desde cierta altura (tuve un accidente con el primero que compré), pero sólo afecta a la carcasa exterior. El revestimiento cerámico interior del compartimento de acero, ni se inmuta. El termo es precioso, es absolutamente estanco y utilísimo. Éste es especial para infusiones si deseas separar el saquito con hierbecillas, especias, té, jengibre, o lo que quieras añadir, del líquido que viertas caliente o frío. Por poner alguna pega a los Fellow Carter, la cerámica interior retiene los olores y sabores de los líquidos/infusiones con gusto muy marcado. Yo acabé comprando uno sólo para el agua, otro para el café con leche y éste último para las infusiones. Porque por más que los fregaba no salía del todo el aroma del líquido anterior. Pero todo lo demás es absolutamente perfecto: el redondeamiento de la boca, que hace fácil y agradable beber por él; el tacto, el aspecto, el colorido y las 12 horas de isotermia, bien sea de frío o calor. Son adorables al tacto y muy ergonómicos. Estéticamente perfectos. Muy minimalistas, pero muy chic! El rojo de éste último es más bonito y luminoso en las fotos publicitarias (pero he descubierto que las cámaras no reflejan su rojo real con fidelidad, lo aclaran bastante incluso con poca luz ambiente). Contad con que es 3 ó 4 tonos más oscuro que en las fotos, pero es precioso igualmente. Fijaos si me gustan estos termos que éste ¡¡¡ya es el quinto de la familia!!! Absolutamente recomendables.

J'adore ce thermos à thé. La fermeture est vraiment hermétique, je peux le mettre dans mon sac sans problème pour aller au travail. Il garde très bien au chaud les boissons pendant de très longues heures, et le petit couvercle à l'intérieur qui prévient les éclaboussures lorsqu'on boit est hyper efficace. J'en suis enchantée.
