I bought this for my dog's paws - we live in the mountains and do a lot of hiking and I noticed his pads were getting a little irritated and he became a little less eager to get out. I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this salve was and that it wasn't oily or greasy either. But rubbed on and into his pads really well. I could tell he felt better and was eager to get outside again! It has a very mild smell and because it rubbed in so well, he wasn't bothered with licking them at all. Interestingly, yesterday we saw a tick on our dog and his skin looked a little irritated from us pulling the tick out so we used this on that as well and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend this product!

I ordered this for my dog lulu - her feet are very tender and get irritated on pavement, especially with the salt still there from the winter. .This Herbal Balm is very easy to apply - smooth, not too greasy, and spreads nicely. It doesn't leave residue on the carpet at all. And I like that it is odorless so there are no weird perfumes in the house. It is all-natural as well so if she licks her feet even after I wipe them when we get home, I don't worry about what she is ingesting. I love Earth Animal - everything they make is the highest quality and I always feel safe with everything they do!

This salve works well on itchy skin for animals. Used it to help alleviate irritated skin from bug bite allergies.

I have two cats who play hard with each other. Sometimes they're a little too aggressive and end up scratching each other. I used this balm on them and found improvement in a matter of days. They sometimes get a little overzealous with me, too. I used the balm on my hands, and noticed improvement and healing within days. No doubt the Vitamin E Oil and Beeswax goes a long way towards healing. The product has no medicinal odor - actually has a faint scent of lavender. I will definitely keep a jar of this handy for use with my roughhousing boys.

The jar is a lot bigger than I expected and spreads very easy on the paw! After the first "paw massage" with the balm, their paws went from sandpaper to soft and moisturized. It's become a daily routine for us and I am so so happy that their paws are feeling a lot better. I know dry skin is uncomfortable for me so I can't imagine walking around on rough paws. To be honest, I have been using the balm for the dry spots on my hands as well and love it. Thank you for making a natural product that I can fully trust with not only my pups but myself! We put tick medicine on our cat and it dried his skin and left patches of dry itchy spots on his back. After looking at several products I picked this one to try and help and after just one use his dry spots shrunk in size and were almost gone after a few uses! Definitely recommend and would buy again!

Great product! I definitely recommend it. My dog recently developed a rash and was scratching constantly. I’ve only been using this product a short time, but his itching has already noticeably improved. This ointment moisturizes well, and unlike similar products I’ve tried, it doesn’t feel greasy after it’s absorbed. I’m now using it on my dog’s paw pads to protect them from the dry weather here. And bonus...it smells great!

Used the whole jar, and my dog never got any allergy relief. The quantity was so small, doesn't even allow for a second chance.
