(Video and last pics are from 2/2024) I did get a haircut because I needed one, not due to any damage whatsoever. I have been going to a salon for my Brazilian Keratin hair straightening since 2009. I only need to get them done twice a year since I don't need to wash my hair every day. $450, twice a year, plus tip and driving equals a lot of money and time. I decided to try doing it on my own this time, because why not - I have seen it done so many times, and I could really use the cash in my pocket. Aside from not being able to cover my eyes like I always do in the salon, everything went true to form. I definitely needed better ventilation, it smells awful. I will do that next time. I am not making this up when I say this is just as good as the salon. For a minute I thought it might even be BETTER! I am definitely choosing this product from now on. If you have the basic knowledge of how to use a hair dryer and a flat iron there's no way you shouldn't be able to do this yourself. Just follow the directions. Don’t improvise. Also the hair mask and argon oil sample they give you in the package are AMAZING! Shampoo and conditioner are good but nothing different than others IMO.

This is my first time using a chemical straightener. I’m kinda disappointed because this specific product (meaning it’s small packaging and small products) from this brand is not meant for longer thicker hair. Luckily, I have found a bigger version of this product I will be trying that. I like the side of my hair that this product worked on. Still, for now I am disappointed that this product (that I spent quite a lot on btw) wasn’t enough for ALL of my hair. Actual product review: The smell is okay to me kinda smelled like waffles almost……… but, the fumes. Boy, they were strong and intense. When I was blow drying and straightening my hair breathing in the fumes would burn my throat. It would get in my eyes and burn my eyes. I got over it though. After the product was in one side (and partly in the other side of my hair) of my hair and I was blowdrying/straightening my hair the product was sticky and thick. Very hard to wash off the hands or face and especially the hair.

All it did was make your hair stiff and greasy and temporarily straighten your hair until you wash it. Plus it burned my eyes sooooo badly i had to wear a towel and glasses over my head. And continously wash out my eyes. Over all just a waste of money

I have naturally curly hair but wear it straight the majority of the time and this cuts down on my drying time and having to flat iron. I normally have it done in the salon but wanted to try to do it at home. I Followed instructions on box, except I didn’t wash for two days and I didn’t use any rubber bands or clips and kept my hair straight as much as possible (not behind my ears or pushed back with sunglasses). Used the sample shampoo and conditioner and blow dried like normal, came out perfect, no need to flat iron and hair is so soft and smooth. Totally worth it if it last the 4-5 months like a salon treatment.

The smell while blowing out the hair and using flat iron is intoxicating! Eyes were burning and even with a mask on, I couldn’t breathe deep. Besides, the smoothing wasn’t as well as I thought. Will not purchase again. A better product is “Make it Straight”. Very suttle nice smell and hair comes out smoother. Double inexpensive also.

So after years and tons of money on getting keratin in salons, I decided to try an at home option. For the record, my hair is a frizzy/wavy texture and goes to the middle of my chest. I washed my hair twice, using the whole bottle and left the treatment on for 40 minutes. I'm not good with using a round brush to blow dry but I did use the Dyson straightening brush on the airwrap and then finally, I flat ironed my hair on 425 degrees. I washed it out 3 days later. Now as everyone has said, the fumes are horrendous. It burned my eyes and triggered a migraine. Next time I do this, I will bring a mirror outside and do everything outside. Also, my hair is bleached blonde and it turned it brassy, so it required me to do a toner mask. With that said, after I finally washed my hair, I just blow dried my hair freely upside down and my hair is straight and frizz free. I recommend it

Omg I love it easy to apply and your hair really gets soft and easy to fix after hair shower it has so many creams and after all treatments that make it even soft I love it but it you will love it
