Super well built
This is a SUPER well built monitor arm. Was honestly very pleased with everything, from the packaging, the instructions, the tools provided to the color and finish. It has the versatility allowing the user to even rotate the attached monitor into portrait mode which is just awesome.

Neat little unit
Other reviews on this product talk about hydraulics and pistons... As far as I can tell it's a simple ratchet system for the up/down position. Base feels solid and heavy, should be able to handle most 27" monitors without problems. You cannot twist the monitor into vertical position (eg, going from 16x9 to 9x16) on the stand like you can with a Dell Sharp series. You would have to take off the monitor and remount the VESA plate.Up/Down changes may be a bit loud in shared workspaces. Price is a little high compared to some other options, but it doesn't require fumbling with a nut to change position on the fly, and I expect it will last longer as there's no chance of stripping.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to adjust.
From some pictures from older reviews I was expecting a slightly different stand. This one is adjustable on the fly and the base is nice and heavy, easily supports my 27 inch monitor. Finally able to lift my monitors about 4 inches higher than they were (now to figure out cable management again!).Ergonomically I can immediately tell the difference, I'm actually sitting up straight instead of slouching with the monitors at proper height. After reading the instructions and matching parts to the instructions it took me all of 5 minutes to put this together, so maybe 10 minutes from unboxing to putting the assembled stand + monitor on my desk. I did have to tighten the forward tilt mechanism so the monitor stayed horizontally level but the hex wrench to do that was included and again it took all of a minute. Honestly given this thing cost ~$30 I really don't understand why some less expensive monitor manufacturers don't just offer these stands instead of the crap ones they come with. Sorry for my bad pics, I'm terrible at using my phone camera.
