Scottish Butter Tablet 250 gram bag (1/4 kilo)

This candy is magical. Tastes just like the candy I have had directly from Scotland. Wish I could afford to order it more often.

Had to throw away. Arrived full of ants

Good treat, although I suspect it may ‘sugar’ over time.

I had seen something about Scottish tablet and wanted to know how to pronounce "tablet" so I looked it up online. Lo and behold, along with a video on pronouncing it, was how they made it the traditional way. And then I saw that Amazon had it for sale. I bought two brands just to try it. I give it four stars, not because there was anything wrong. It arrived in good shape and was very fresh. But it wasn't quite my taste. However, my husband loved it. In fact, there's only a couple of pieces left and I only ate one piece! So, if you like a type of slightly grainy candy with a maple flavor, go for it! (It reminded me a little bit of southern cream candy that didn't quite get pulled enough.)

We love it. The only problem is having to fight my wife over it, it's absolutely delicious,
