Great switch for smaller speaker wire
The switch works very well and allows you to play each set separately or at the same time. The feel is good when switching and feels like quality. The plate fits well and has a good finish of white. Fits a standard electric box and the was room for all the wires no problem. It's going to be hard to use larger speaker wire. I used a cheap 16 gauge as it's for garage speakers or patio speaker. I was able to strip very small end of the wire and lock them in good with no wire hanging out of port. I tried to use pin connectors but the ports were to close together to get them all in there.I will be buying another when I install the pool to control speakers out there. For the money you can't go wrong.

Works but connections too tight
Works as advertised although the connections aren't separated well and can cause sound to come from deselected speakers if you trim too much insulation from the wire..

Does what it is supposed to do.
I use this to switch between the outdoor deck speakers and the speakers in my garage, so far so good. Yeah the terminal strip is small, but you are connecting 12 wires in the space of a common light switch. I used 16 ga wire with no problem. I did not experience the wires coming loose as I tightened other ones as some reviewers have stated. I think the terminal strip is a little tougher than what people think, I tightened the screws pretty tight using a Snap On precision mini phillips head screwdriver. The size of the terminals dictate that you only strip away about 1/8" to 3/16" of insulation on the speaker wire, anything longer than that does not seat well. Like other reviewers, I found that the switch is too deep for a regular switch box. I had an old plastic project box laying around that I cut out using the plate cover for a template. I also used this template to cut out the back of the box and the piece of MDF that the box is mounted on. That was the only way I could get enough depth for the switch to fit. It's not really visible in these pics, but I drilled a 3/4" hole in the plastic box and used an old piece of automotive heater hose cut to size as a grommet. The wires are pretty snug in the hose, hopefully this keeps spiders and such out of the box.Operationally, the switch works fine and does what it is supposed to do. If in six months or so it breaks or malfunctions, I will update this review. I've used Pyle products before with good results. You just have to remember that you are buying something for about a third of the price of other name brand products.

Excellent two speaker switch
I love having tunes play when I am working in my shop and yard. As a result I have a nice Yamaha powering everything. This switch allows me to have more options on what speakers I want to drive... I ran a separate speaker lines to the inside as well as front of the shop.I now can drive speakers A or B or both AB together and I still have another set of speakers I can drive with the B channel already on the stereo. I get no distortion from the switch and it seems to not impeded the output. Overall it was easy to install and you just need to know simple wiring. Please note the input and output to A&B speakers all come into the same electrical box. It basically means you have 10 wires coming into the box. So if you are using a thick gauge of wire, it gets tight in the box.

Doesn't fit wire
This speaker switch has a terminal strip that does not fit any common stranded wire (such as is used in speaker wire). If you want to use this to switch speakers in a normal application, look elsewhere. Anything from 22 to 16 awg wire you will need to trim strands to insert in the terminals.

Works great, but installation was a bit of a pain.
The screw-down terminals on the back of this thing are a little fragile. I wound up having to use a flathead screw driver to deliver enough torque to tighten the screws down enough to keep the wires from popping out. If you're going to install this switch in a wall box, keeping those wires from breaking free is a small chore. Maybe I'm just not experienced enough at home theater installation, but I found it to be a pain to deal with. When installed, it works well. The buttons have a solid feel to them and I like that you can press either, both, or none to deliver power to your "A" and "B" speakers. I installed this in my garage to switch between the speakers there and the ones on my back deck. Does all that I ask of it!Also consider buying a volume control for the "input" side of this switch. Very convenient to be able to attenuate the volume to suit your needs. I installed a volume box right next to this one.
