Perfect part for 1/4" ID hose. You do need a ferrule and crimper to complete a leak-free installation.

Deceptive and conflicting info
On the item description, it says it's a 9/16-18 UNF LEFT HAND Female adapter. But guess what? I got a 9/16-18 RIGHT HAND Female adapter. 2nd bullet point under the price says "Hose barb on one end and female UNF right hand threads on the other". So which is it? Well, I found out the hard way. It's RIGHT HAND! Exactly what I DIDN'T need! I'm hoping Amazon will make this right. Obviously whoever packs these doesn't even bother to look and see if they are sending left or right hand adapters. I read another review with the SAME ISSUE! If the seller makes it right, I'll change my rating. But for now it's 1 star!

Used to replaced crushed fitting.....
Worked as expected..... I used this barb fitting to replace a damaged acetylene fitting. No installation issues, connected with no leaks. I received the described product.

Not left hand
When the first time they mail me this, I found it is right hand. Until I bought a second one, I know they have no idea what they are selling.

the package was labeled 0A71 but what was in the package was 0A61.Can not use the wrong part
