I am the designer of this knife. I am a custom maker and designer. I was born and raised in central Ohio. I have been living in North Carolina for the past 12 years.

Q: Where is this knife made?

China. Which of you're asking because of quality nowadays coming from China doesn't mean anything as far as quality/fit n finish. Some of my best made knives are from China. But if you have other reasons for not wanting to buy China made products then that's different. Hope this helps.

Q: When opened does it stay locked or do the bearings make it loose where it doesn’t lock when opened?

Lock-up of the blade is about 40% of max and 100% reliable. Personally, though, I probably won't use this knife for cutting materials heavier than cardboard. FYI: Bearings have nothing to do with lock integrity but makes operation smoother and/or snappier.
