I am convinced this is an authentic Montblanc. However it does not come with the normal looking credentials. It does come with the correct box but the small pamphlet does not show the serial number.. however it does come with some small tags, that do match the serial number on the collar. Also, when you look under the clip there is no "PIX" inscribed. This leads me to believe this is an older pen. That doesn't bother me. I just want the quality of Montblanc. I did the penlight test and the casing had a red glow. My main test was to put the pen under a stereo microscope and look at the engraving... It was clear and crisp. This model is a ball point, so it's hard to talk about feel... however, the writing is smooth and the pen feels good in the hand and is well balanced. I love it.

The shipping was very fast, item came just as described, boxed and with all the relevant paperwork. This is a classic writing piece and seeing that it was for a 40th birthday present I was very impressed with the service I had having this pen sent to Australia. Price was really great and I was satisfied with the whole transaction. I would highly recommend both this pen and the vendor. As mentioned earlier this is a great pen, perfect weight and the platinum finish now makes it even more suitable for that modern look.

Product is amazing but after checking with other suppliers I found that I have paid almost 8-10% more. I should have done more homework.

Took to MontBlanc the warranty card in the back didn't have the embossed seal, the pen was light, the case was all wrong. put together with a big gap down the middle, (a real one is tight and has no gap) the inside of the box lid opening was missing print lettering, The Box that the pen came in was also the wrong color. As I was so disappointed I decided to spend the 400+ dollars and actually buy it from MontBlanc and these are the pictures from the real deal. including the seal on the warranty card that this was missing FROM THE FACTORY. The clear view of the brand name round the pen including the type of pen. The box is a vanilla color not that yellow color as in the photo. It does have the printing in the inside flap. The box is shiny and the leather that holds the pen is all the way together and there is no gap for the pen to sit in. Buyer beware. Or if this seller has a vendor selling these pens to him he should beware of where he is getting them from and did his home work. The genuine seal that came on the box from the amazon box was not there on the actual MontBlanc pen either, that is from the seller making it look official. IF the deal looks to good to be true it is. Buy the real thing it does right better and doesn't retract when you write either.

We got this for an employee who just passed a major certification. It is a beautiful pen, and the employee loves it. The item was as described in the Amazon listing, and we received it from the seller promptly. Also included was a refill for the pen, which is always helpful.
