This is a well made product. It fits nicely on my Logitech c920. I love that the design just snaps on and you don’t have to bother with adhesive. If you want a simple privacy shutter for your webcam this is for you!

We primarily purchase C920x and Pro Stream Logitech webcams for our office needs. Sound and image quality is great and so is the price. They do not however, have an integrated privacy shutter like some other models have, so an external one must be used.This fits perfectly. While some are held on with adhesive that may or may not hold up over time, this is more of a clip design which grips the frame of the camera. To be clear, it does not clip or snap on, but has strips of foam on the top and bottom of the shutter which tightens the grip between the shutter and camera itself. It is loose enough to slide left to right, but tight enough that it does not fall off or feel like a sloppy fit. I am able to open the shutter easily without worrying that I will pull it off.It would be nice if it actually snap/clipped to the camera, but for the price I’m not upset. These work great!

I tried to get this accessory directly from Logitech (p/n 993-000900) but it was out of stock without any firm date for when it would be available. So, I went with an aftermarket provider. It arrived quickly, snapped on perfectly, and doesn't feel cheap. The hinge is nice and tight and it feels like the part I imagine would have ensued had I obtained it directly from Logitech. It is nice (for once) to get an aftermarket part that doesn't scream "poor imitation" in its fit and finish. I also like that it is unbranded. I don't need logos jockeying for my attention on everything I own. Less is more.Would definitely recommend and would buy again.NOTE: This is used on my Logitech C920X. It is identical to the C920, C920S, and C920E but the S and E models ship with a detachable privacy shutter in the box. The X does not and instead comes with a 3-month trial license for XSplit software (which I don't use and thus won't comment on). I didn't research the differences prior to purchasing and probably would have gotten the E variant if I did it all over again (the mic is muted by default and that fits my usage case best - I usually wear a headset and need only the camera). There is a nice review of all the C920 variants over at Streamtechreviews dot com /blog/c920 that explains the differences (but the base webcam is essentially identical in all variants).

I wonder how many people have either lost or broken the privacy flap on their Logitech webcam? I was searching but Amazon had it - works like a charm! Thank you Amazon!

It was easy to put on! It just sits on the camera so it’s slides around and comes off sometimes when you’re opening or closing it.

It does exactly as advertised. I am very pleased with it.

This cover fit my Logitech C922 absolutely perfect. Looks as though it came with the camera.
