Works well
Item fit great on my whirlpool dishwasher. Wasn’t as tight as other users mentioned. If any it could have been tighter. My rack has 120 prongs so these packs should at least be sold in larger slightly quantities than 100.

Excellent but buy 2 packs
This is a quality product but 100 pieces will leave you about a dozen shy of covering both your top and bottom rack. Frustrating, but the product seems well made - thickness leads me to belice they will last , with a snug - but not too snug fit - took maybe 20 minutes to install.

BOIL. AND. TWIST.
I can't emphasize the title enough. So, like many others, I struggled to get these on as they came (which was, of course, without any instructions whatsoever). After consulting google and confirming that yes, caps and dishrack tines all come in standard sizes and there was no chance I had ordered the wrong thing, I did what a few other reviews have mentioned and put them in warm water first. It helped a bit, but not a lot, and here's what I found to be the best process through a lot of trial and error:- Keep a small pot of water *just* at boiling on the stove.- Toss a handful of the caps in and wait 10-15 seconds.- Using tongs or tweezers, pick one cap out of the boiling water and give it a quick shake to empty the water inside. (If you miss the brief window to put it on a tine and it cools, pop it back in the water.)- Quickly slide it onto a tine using a spiral/twisting motion all the way down, like screwing on a bottlecap. The twisting is important - not only does it help it get all the way down before it cools, but if you don't, the cap can get bunched up along the way and you'll have to try and either smooth it out of pull it off to re-do it.- When you've used up the ones in the pot, toss in another handful and repeat.Once I had that system in place, it was like night and day, and I got my *entire* bottom rack re-covered in under five minutes. The caps are SO much easier to work with when they're the consistency of a thick water balloon, especially if you have some tines that are misshapen from the coat peeling and/or rust swelling up (I had a few). That's why I went with four stars - there's nothing wrong with the actual product, but it was way too frustrating for what it is and I wasted a lot of time (and a few of the caps) due to the complete lack of useful instructions.

IT WORKS!
My GE dishwasher is 15 years old and it's still runs good but the tines are all rusted and created burnt holes in the pots and pans. It also created rust marks on ALL of my plates and bowls. Instead of buying a new dishwasher, I tried these caps. 100pcs didn't quite cut it, there are a total of 112 tines in the dishwasher. These caps are perfect fit, and it stays snug. It has been 2 months now. I run the dishwasher 2-3x a week. It works wonders! Caps stayed on and no more rust mark on my dishes.

Work well, very snug, which is what you want.
Dishwasher is only a year old, but almost all the tines are showing rust on tips. Was shocked by price of new racks, so got these because they are made of rubber, not PVC. It took about 30 minutes to put them on. I used alcohol to clean the tines, then used olive oil to make installation much easier. I tried pulling one off after I put it on, and it didn't come off easily. This is good because the whole point is to get a water tight seal. I notice one tine was particular damaged on its post, so I simply cut the tips off four other caps, then basically covered the entire tine. These match really well and honestly look like OEM. Even if you have a brand new dishwasher, I would recommend getting these. Now time will tell how well they hold up, but I'm sure I've extended the life of the racks by doing this. These are so water tight, I see no need to apply any other chemicals to the tips. Oil olive is what we use for seasoning iron cookware, so I'm pretty sure that's the only additional thing you might want to do.

Good color
They did not fit the way they came. They seemed to be tapered down slightly. Besides the dishwasher tines being wider than the caps they were swollen and broken with rust. So I cut them in half and used a mini hot glue gun to gently warm and strech them so they would slide right on.

Fit very tightly
These would probably install fairly easily on a brand-new dishwasher rack. Unfortunately, my dishwasher rack is a couple years old, and the plastic on the tips of the rack are worn off and the metal underneath is rusting. New racks are ridiculously pricy. These were a cheap fix. It is a major pain to get these started and pushed down on the tines. It takes several sessions to install them all, because after 20 or so, my fingers start getting very sore. Also, when installed, there is an air bubble at the tip. Time will tell if that is going to be a weak spot. On the plus side, they do seem to seal tightly and fix the problem of exposed, rusty tines.

I came up with an easy installation approach,
I'm in the process of installing them, and running into the challenges others have noted. I tried several of the suggested solutions, and they helped some, but not a bunch. What I came up with was to take a dowel (maybe a half inch diameter or more, but a half inch is plenty sufficient and was what I had on hand) and I drilled a hole in the end, not quite as deep as the sleeves. The 7/32" bit was the right size, so it was close to tight, but still didn't try to pull the sleeves off again when I pull the dowel off. So I put the sleeve on as far as I could get it (about a quarter inch) and then put the dowel over it and push with that, which keeps it collapsing off to the side and it is quick and simply to push on. They look nice, but I haven't run any dishes yet with it, so not much more to report.
