These pallettes are both super clever. I simply could not decide which one I would use the most so I got the bundle. They're both great. I have my micro set up in my Etcher Field Case with a small sketchbook, some brushes, a pencil/eraser, and a plastic pouch filled with water. In short, everything I need to paint in one super convenient case.The Classic is set up in my Etcher Slate along with everything else I would need for extended painting sessions in the field.They are both fanstically designed with thoughtful features. The compactness of both designs is top notch. These are quality built and the plastic seems durable. The classic is also quite portable and a great field pallette. The legs that serve as water cups but also let you paint from the Captain Morgan stance are brilliant. I've put velcro on the ends so it will stand on my Slate and it is quite sturdy. It allows me to keep a cloth under the pallette and maximize my working space.

I am beyond impressed! You can tell that a lot of thought and experience went into this product. The design is just flawless. So sleek and the functionality is just amazing. The product quality speaks for itself, you can tell it's not made out of cheap materials.I can't wait to travel with it!

This empty travel pallet it's awesome! You can take anywhere, very compact, and this set have the tiny pallet too. I love it so much!!! The rectangular one have two containers and you can add water and put your brushes in the other side, or fill both with water. They're very compact, lightweight and comfortable to carry out. This set ROCKS! Ilove the sturdy design ! So we'll thought out. Painting for 50 years and I really like supplies that WORK! You get so much for the money too! A DOUBLE BRUSH THAT'S NOT CHINA CHEAP ??? WOW!!!!Thanks Steve !

I love the portable painter. Having two good sized water containers is KEY for plein air painting with my favorite brushes. The way everything is put together is brilliantly compact and highly functional. My only suggestion for improvement is to make the wells bigger - get rid of the narrowing of the wells as it goes down because none but the tiny Winsor Newton size pan will fit, so I ended up taking out the pans altogether. In fact, leaving the white body of the container an open rectangle will be best to fit in both full and half sized pans and allow for more customizing.I much prefer the portable painter to the micro painter, which is a bit too fiddly and does not store water as well.

This is a good case for anytime. The problem is, if above your knee is little larger than the span of the pallet, you can't securely place this over your leg. You will have to sit it on the ground or another surface while painting. They need to give exact measurements between the cups. Since I have more travel pallets that sit on a flat surface, I returned these. I would say buy it. The quality seems to be really good 👍.

What great palettes! The large on fits over your knee outdoors if you want it to! The micro one, I also bought the inserts than give you more pans, is fabulous! What a treat to myself! You will fall in love with them! They fold so incredibly smart and compact! Easy to set up! Thank you for this combo set!❤️
