I just love this poster. I was surprised at how carefully it was packaged. The poster was rolled in thick tissue paper and shipped in a sealed heavy-duty cardboard tube. It shipped a week earlier than had been estimated. When I was shopping around for this poster, I noticed some websites showed the whole thing as being very rich coffee colors; others showed it as more gray and pale. It is somewhere in between with the field area coffee colored, but not as deeply as it sometime appears online. Overall I would say the predominant color palette is gray. The other issue to consider is that the poster is a nonstandard size: 19 1 / 2 x 27 1 / 2 so it's difficult to find a frame in retail stores. Regardless, it's an excellent poster.

Love it!! Reasonable price, printed on high quality, heavy paper. Good coloration. Came rolled in a hard cardboard tube. Very big. Just wish I had ordered it in the frame. Been wanting this picture for a l o n g time. Now its mine!

Loved this poster! Great for Fall and Halloween!

I was just looking thru Amazon trying to find something interesting to put "somewhere" in my house. Not sure where I wanted to hang it and not sure what I wanted. Then I ran across this little fellow!! This is such an interesting print. After I had looked at him for a while and looked around my house I realized, unfortunately, he didn't really fit in with my decor. BUT, I have a 22 yr old son who really liked him when he first saw him. So..I gave him to my son and I can at least go look at him every once in a while (if I feel like going upstairs) and I know the little crow has stayed in the family. If he caught your eye and your trying to decide if you would like him or not, go ahead and get him!! It's probably meant to be!!!

The paper quality is awesome, the print is murky and not at all like the rich colors that we see here. I was buying it for my husband and was hoping for better.

I love Rudi Hurzlmeier. He is a totally crazy and fun artist. All his art is interesting, and some of it, risque or just plain nuts. I always wondered about this particular painting: Did the crow remind him of a person, who he expressed through this bird and background; or, did a particular person remind him of a crow? I love the bleak, almost gothy background mixed with the absolutely whacky and somewhat sly expression of the crow. Perfect in my orange and grey living room.

The item I received was not what was advertised. It is a faded copy of the original, enlarged so much that the copyright information printed in white at the bottom is just a blur. (Picture 1 is a side by side comparison of the advertised position on the left and the item I received on the right. The pictures I took of the item were taken under the best lighting I could find, fluorescent bright lights at my office. This is not the lighting it would be under at home, it would be much darker.) Despite being enlarged, it is not even the size advertised. It is printed onto outdoor garden flag material. (Polyester?) It is not archival paper, it is fabric with frayed edges. (Zoom in on pictures 4 and 5 to see for yourself.) I've worked with archival supplies and know them when I see them. This is not archival paper. It was packaged horribly and I am surprised it arrived undamaged. But this is probably more due to the item being fabric than due to the ability of the packaging to protect it. Yes, that is a couple feet of bubble wrap taped into a cylinder shape. Very bendable and flimsy.I am very dissatisfied with the "poster" and will be returning it.
