It’s a very good resource for parents and young children to read and be able to explain the changes in the body during puberty. Written in a very easy way for kids

All the books in this range are amazing. Easy to read and the kids do not get bored. It is very informative, but in a fun way for girls. I would highly recommend all these books.

Sensible, reassuring and age-appropriate advice for girls
Fantastic book, covering the physical and emotional changes girls can expect during puberty in a positive and sensible way. My daughter (10) loves it. I looking for a book that was age-appropriate and did not go on to discuss sex and relationships, so this fit the bill perfectly. Don't let the 'American Girl' title put you off, it's perfect for Brits too!

Book 2, Know how to care
I bought this book as a follow on from Book 1 which was great for my 10 year old. It helps her to understand her body and also gives tips & advice. I would say that this book is for more advanced girls maybe 11+, however my daughter is mature enough to take this information on board. It is Americanised so there are obvious words which are slightly different but shouldn’t put a young lady off. Happy reading!

Informative
Covers the basics well and in enough detail that doesn't leave room for confusion. As other reviews have covered lots of American dialogue but doesn't detract from the books purpose. More about what happens through puberty and how to take care of personal hygiene. Doesn't cover sex education.

Great book on growing up (no birds and bees)
Great book, my daughter found the first one really useful so ordered number 2. Clear and easy to follow, can be read and navigated alone by a child of 9 years up I’d say. Was hoping it would have had a section on birds and bees as it’s the one for ‘older girls’ but the content that is there is good and just at the right level I’d say.

If you need your education sugar coated and steralized, this is the book for you.
This is for OLDER girls?? Good lord.This is puritan to the point of near absurdity.Incorrectly depicted anatomy. Mislabeled anatomy. No information on the anatomy that IS actually correctly labeled...And of course.. no mention masturbation.Why is everyone so afraid to actually educate girls about their bodies??
