Cuckoo Clock Black Forest house with moving wood chopper and mill wheel KA 3728/8

Clock works perfectly and is absolutely gorgeous! I bought it for my wife for Christmas and she just loved it. The clock is bigger than I expected and the detail is stunning! I was, however, worried the day it was delivered...I heard the delivery guy drop it off at the door (he didn't knock) and when I went and checked the door I saw the box sitting there and the delivery guy was running away to get to his truck. I noticed the box had a big gash in the back of it, like it had been dropped on a rock. I opened the box and found the clock had been double-boxed. But the inside box also had a gash in the same spot. I checked the clock as best as I could and could see no obvious damage. I just taped up the boxes and wrapped it for Christmas. Thankfully, on one piece of the roof trim was cracked when my wife opened it and that was easily fixed and is not noticeable. Again, the clock is beautiful, sounds wonderful and is an amazing piece of craftsmanship.

The details are amazing and everyone loves to watch it play. My husband is extremely handy and he is very impressed with the workmanship. We would highly recommend this clock.

Beautiful workmanship but we are very disappointed about its mechanical operation.We have waited almost 10 weeks before posting this review, We have tried all instructions including the youtube videos and the clock still has failures in operation.We bought this clock because it said it came with a 2-year warranty in the USA but when it arrived there was no warranty included.in the papers we received.and the only phone number is in Germany and we don't speak German. We followed all the instructions exactly and after a week we had it running but still was a little slow no matter how we adjusted the pendulum. The clock is not an 8-day clock as the weights need to be raised every 3-4 days. After 4 weeks it stopped completely for no reason at 3:10 AM even though the weights were up. Following the instructions, we moved the clock angularly a little and the pendulum started moving again a few days after that it stopped at 3:10 PM. We started the pendulum swinging and the following day it stopped at 6:55 AM for no reason; the following day it stopped at 6:55PM with everything thing else correct. It would not start again until we moved the hands to 7PM then it stopped again at 1 AM for no reason. This repeated itself until now we just don't even try to get it to work anymore.We have a mechanical clock which loses 10 minutes a day and wanted a new one that would not be a problem and could be handed down to our kids--We are very disappointed with this clock.

We got the clock for my husbands birthday and when it arrived the packaging was great and we were very careful unpacking the cuckoo clock. Although we had a problem with some of the movements and the back wouldn’t come off totally. So we sent messages to the company and basically we were going to have to send the clock back. My husband wouldn’t hear of that so we took it back off the wall carefully and laid a thick towel down and placed the clock face down and we found the problem one of the movement arms got stuck in the spring on the door and after we fixed it and hung it back on the wall it works like a charm now. It is worth the money and sounds awesome!

Stop putting it off, get one. What a joy to have in our home. The workmanship is impecable.

My wife loves it! This is the real thing, no batteries or quartz. The attention to detail is amazing. It comes with complete installation instructions, including a DVD. The clock itself is 18" tall and 15" wide. The cuckoo sounds and the two men saw the log. Then the music,water wheel and dancers operate. The clock is double boxed, expect a box that's 36" x 30" x 30". The post office asked me to get it from them instead of delivering it.

Excellent craftsmanship. Well packed. Wife's bday present. 🙂
